  1. Past hour
  2. Just something else for ESPN bigwigs to ruin. 🤮🤮🤮
  3. Bring back the Shrevport Steamers!
  4. It worked out so well for the NFL and EA Tiburon / Madden, as well. This is an absolute Deucenburg Suck-A-Thon.
  5. Steve Saboll jr. (Maybe?)
  6. Does this have salary cap implications? Who gets the money?
  7. I'm looking for 2 tickets to the Ravens game for my wife and I. She's never been to a game (born and raised in Hawaii). I appreciate any decent tickets available. Thank you
  8. It's all about the Benjamins.
  9. I don't understand, Jokeman. The world wide leader in slash and burn. The Titanic of sinking sports ships. The very guys who can't keep pee (and other stains) off the front of their pants, and coffee stains off their ties...are buying the NFL Network, and somebody in charge at NFL Media is OK with this?!
  10. There goes that service down the drain with Steven A and McAfee on 24 hrs a day
  11. With Cook in camp I think Beane likely made some sort of deal with Cook's agent to at least not franchise him if they can't agree to a contract. Makes sense for both sides. Keeps Cook motivated and in with the team while his agent gets him a concession that allows him to ball out and prove his worth without getting tagged and in a similar situation next off-season. I think they will possibly get a deal done in the 12-13 million range with 20ish million in additional guarantees but that's just me guessing.
  12. Of course they will cuz Disney ruins everything.
  13. Oh they will **** that up to be sure.

  15. Burns is so fragile. He's seemingly hurt every season.
  16. Because he was citing a Fact. Two facts. A much higher tariff on imported Japanese steel than on imported Japanese automobiles. These facts are objective. The conclusion is textbook economics.
  17. I understand cheering for the new guy but you're talking about Tre White like he is just some shlub not beloved by this fanbase. Just doesn't seem right to me.
  18. NE has to set up their young QB for success to really know what they have getting a top flight WR for 2-3 years would allow them to take advantage of their current rookie QB contract (you can ensure you have a plateable out after 2-3 years so that if you have to pay your QB you can get out from under the deal) and let them know if their QB is the real deal or not. I think it makes sense for NE to do so. Similar to the Texans taking on Diggs last season. Ideally you would like a younger WR age 27/28 like when the Bills added Diggs but WR's can play at or near a prime level till around age 32/33 so if you get 2-3 good years that's gonna help your young QB.
  19. I’m not debating the point. I’m incredulous that you would use “objective/non-ideological” in the same sentence as Krugman. It’s absurd. Why not just say “here’s Krugman take”?
  20. Either of yall have more wrinkles than me and have opinions on these guys? I do remember Washington being DL Coach, glad hes gone from an underperforming unit.... does make me nervous that his successor was the guy under him. Nielson looks like he's had two DC jobs in two years. Not awe inspiring, but we'll see: Atlanta Falcons In Nielsen’s first year with the Falcons, the overall defensive rankings improved from 23rd to 18th in points allowed per game and from 27th to 11th in yards allowed per game.[9] The Falcons also doubled their sack total (42) from the previous season (21). He was Jags DC last year: WOOF (rankings below)
  21. Medicare has a pretty thin margin for profit. Medicaid does not. Some is better than none. The best payors are commercial but they cost shift thru deductibles which are sometimes difficult to get patients tp pony up. The best patients for making a living are affluent with private insurance. They're also the ones that can afford concierge care which largely takes insurance out of the equation. less and healthier patients,. as much or more money. I don't blame anyone for doing it. I hoped b man would share his insight.
  22. I legitimately wish him the best and hope he's ok. Out of concern for his safety he should let Tua get sacked on every play
  23. Weren’t you saying previously that in your practice, that Medicare is as insufficient to cover expenses absent private pay that put the benjies in the docs pocks?
  24. Exactly. The Advantage Plans are an example of how private health insurers used political power to screw a lot of old folks.
