  1. Past hour
  2. How about all four +++ of Move the needle upwards enough and allow Coaching to make best use of them ? Would that be acceptable to Folks ? But heck yes , I am all about high ceilings !
  3. This is what happened to the Chiefs first pick Josh Simmons. People are saying they had a great draft. I just disagree. If the Bills needed a OT to protect Allen I’d be furious if we spent a 1st round pick on one with this injury. I feel terrible for the guy. And Casas. I’m a Yankee fan still hate injuries I don’t want to see anyone get hurt. If you want to draft him in the 3rd or 4th. Sure.
  4. Cincinnati scare the ***** out of me. They dont waste plays running the ball. They are all gas no brakes and their receivers can destroy our dbs. If our pass rush dont get home- we toast
  5. It is the Chiefs until we beat them, or they slide enough to no longer be a factor. The Ravens may be the “better team” now, but the answer is still the Chiefs.
  6. I agree - had a fantastic vacation there.
  7. Oh no, not the Aussies too! Trump is doing a wonderful job at bringing that pro-American coalition together. And this one didn't even need a 52nd state threat.
  8. I think Taron still has a couple good yrs left
  9. Did his health issue in the past lead to his slide?
  10. I think Hamlin is out. Too slow. Good chance that Hancock beats Lewis for slot/safety double duty backup. Hardy is a dark horse here. He’s a better slot cover guy than most people think. If he can show he makes better decisions in punt return game, he might take Codringtons place.
  11. I think this guys is gonna be a beast. He’ll be our best pick of this draft
  12. Hey! I just watched a documentary about this!
  13. That is easy - it was originally put into place to help balance teams rosters with injuries. Team A has 4 guys injured, but not on IR - which used to be for the season - and Team B was healthy - then the healthy team would have 4 additional rostered players to play. By limiting the 53 - it allowed both teams to have 48 rostered healthy players to keep balance and allow the injured players to sit. Team A could sit 4 injured players and a Healy guy, while team B had to sit 5 healthy guys, but now both teams have the same number that can play with no advantages and no one forcing an injured player to dress - just in case. It does need to be re-evaluated with the practice squad call-ups and the ability to use of returning IR in season.
  14. Oh i agree. Hes one of the best.
  15. Lamar Jackson isn’t very good in the playoffs, and that’s been the difference. The Ravens would have beat us in the playoffs if Jackson didn’t hand us the game. I think that’s why it looks bad on paper, but we succeed in real life. Mahomes always shows up against us unlike Jackson.
  16. That’s where draft value matters imo. Theres a lot of talk about how Detroit drafting Gibbs and Campbell in the first round years ago proved draft value is for nerds. But the wheel of the NFL never stops pounding. Gibbs is a great player and Campbell is fine. But if you prioritize shorter term moves (which is fine), you pay for it in the long-term. It would not surprise me to see the Lions be an 8 win team.
  17. You come out of the woodwork only to complain. Wallow in misery.
  18. You weren't worried about WR last offseason either. Then Baltimore and Houston happened. The latter being one of the worst performances by an NFL QB this century. Because of insufficient quality at WR. So you were proven wrong. Beane had to burn a precious 3rd round pick to address it with a player coming off a 1200 yard season that teams had to respect as a deep threat. And they subsequently produced a full TD more per game after that. (As Beane is proud to note) That's the difference between being the 2nd highest scoring offense and finishing 11th(Arizona). And for further perspective on what that kind of disparity means........the Bills ranked 11th in defensive DVOA last season and the prevailing sentiment among fans and local/national media is that they were bad defensively.
  19. Bal is definitely most talented. We barely got by even with the turnover advantage and them missing a great WR. Felt this way last playoffs too. But Bal,KC and Buf are on tier 1 . Cincy and I guess Hou are on a lower tier, Cincy did a horrible job building in the trenches or they'd be on tier 1 too Yup. But with all the FA additions on the DL, Through FA and the draft , likely 6 new additions to the rotation, I feel we could consistently stop the run with 4 instead of 5 or 6, which will do wonders for the D
  20. There is a chance that Moore will get a shot at the punt return job…he did it in college and has returned some punts in the NFL. I think the Bills would love to not have to roster Coddrington, who has no other position.
  21. 48 pages and counting for a possible WR5 who may or may not make the team. My take, if Vegas hadn't taken Thorton at 108 (Bills at 109) or if Seattle hadn't taken Horton at 166 (Bills at 170) we probably aren't having this conversation. I suspect Beane had this as a near-guaranteed signing in his back pocket during the draft based on his "put a pin in it" comment and his comments to WGR in his WR rant about no opportunities with how the draft fell to attempt to upgrade his top 4 WRs (this signing does not improve the top 4). As it stands, Moore is competition for the bottom of the roster with Shavers, Shenault, Hamler, Virgil and Prather. If he's better, he'll earn a spot. From a purely numbers standpoint he'll need to replace Hollins 31 receptions, 378 yds, and 5 TDs. TDs aside, given his past production the numbers seem easy enough (though Mack did it on 50 tgts, not 100)... the challenge is Mack tended to snag those balls at critical times, and he was a beast as a blocker. I don't know if they'd be counting on Moore (or anyone else in that illustrious list) to be their "clutch" guy.
  22. CB - Safe = Benford & Hairston Next up = White, Ingram, Jackson, Codrington, Strong, Couch ... At least two of these guys make the final roster, maybe 3. Nickel CB - Safe = Johnson Lewis - Knows the system, plays Nickel and Safety, One of our best ST players Hancock - 5th round rookie, can play nickel and Safety, not sure about STs, Knows what it takes to win a Championship. Hardy - 6th round pick last year and nearly made the team, can return punts ... 1 of these 3 will back up Johnson. S - Safe = Rapp & Bishop 2 of these 3 guys will make the team, all 3 if Hancock wins the #2 NCB job ... Forrest, Hamlin, Hancock Best guess starting - Benford, Hairston, Johnson, Rapp, Bishop Back ups - White, Ingram, Hancock, Forrest, Hamlin
