You're still constantly giving bad teams better players. Too many stay bad until management or coaches change. Give every team the same shot at a acquiring talent. Make poor decisions, get poor results. If you can't develop your players and provide them with poor coaching, you'll still stink. You don't give a homeless drunk a Ferrari every year because he's down on his luck and it's somehow better for society. Give everyone an equal shot at the talent pool. I'm not even sure it would benefit the Bills with some of their decision making, but it certainly stop feeding lower end talent to organizations that do it the right way.

8 sacks is simply unacceptable and that doesn't even factor in the other plays Allen took hits on. Before this game, Allen himself mentioned how he got "beat up" in the Houston game last season. It's pretty simple, really. If the offense can simply avoid turning the ball over, they likely win. In all 4 of the Bills' losses this year they committed multiple turnovers. Meanwhile, it would be nice if the defense could force some turnover of their own for a change.

Good coaching can do wonders. Aaron Kromer is known for getting the most out of the guys he has even if they aren't all super talented. He gets those five to play good together as a unit and that's all you can hope for.

Part of me feels that they should just throw in the towel and concentrate on making corrections for next year, but the logical one in me keeps saying that nothing will change next year anyways, so what's the point anymore. Well the OLine was beyond terrible last year, so bad that 4 of the 5 starters this year are new and 2 of those are rookies. So they did a great job making it a competent group but only so much you can do in 1 off season.. I am just hoping the Oline coach was part of the issue last year and Lowe is at least serviceable enough where he doesn’t get Maye killed back there

This is a really good question given how this word is used in today’s politics. At its simplest, Patriot means one who loves their country. Then we need to examine what the word love means. It’s easy to love when no sacrifice is required. Those who sacrifice working for America in the military or in other capacities, representing America in foreign lands would certainly qualify. Politicians who serve with honor and loyalty to the Constitution, working for the betterment of all Americans, would qualify. Those whose actions put the welfare of their fellow citizens and our nation above their own self interest would qualify. Actions matter more than words.
