  1. Past hour
  2. I’m pissed at the coaches for a lot but not this. Groot + Bosa in a cast on a feels-like 90 degree day. AJ out, Hoecht out. No choice but to play Solomon and Jackson. D was fine for 3Qs given the non stop 3 & outs from the O. Loss was 100% on offense.
  3. The roster has been going backwards for a few years now. We're consistently bringing back players that were let go, both on offense (remember the returns of Beasley and Brown?) and of course defense (Hyde as a player/coach or whatever that was, Poyer, White) Reason? Beane has failed to find suitable replacements. Most of his FA signings lately have been awful. Hoecht seemed like a hit but we'll probably never know what might have been.
  4. I didn’t say the organization sucked now I said for most of the 20 years the Pats dominated they did.. As did the rest of the AFCE. Until the Bills got McDermott, who is a good coach and Allen the Bills were not a good team say since 2000. The point is I have heard so many whine about facing a 1st place schedule which is literally 2 games difference and so far the Bills are 1-0 and the Pats 0-1 on that..
  5. This is what I was referring to. It'll take years for them to rebuild from their cap mismanagement alone. Then hope they roll the dice and hit on a QB to build around. These reasons combined is why they're set back more than a few years
  6. The Bears are 6-3 with the guys all of us wanted. The Patriots are 8-2 with the other guy all of us wanted. The rest of the board was trying to warn us that the Bills would fall apart with such a move. It's time to move on from this regime, but it's not going to happen. This is going to be McD and Beane purgatory time for several more years.
  7. Considering six straight AFC East championships gone to the AFC title game twice has beaten Patrick mahomes more than any organization That's literally the definition of hyperbole to call it a waste Peyton Manning had no problem laying into any player to demand more.. Josh certainly can take more command he is the captain of this team He doesn't need to be everybody's friend he needs to lead by example and sometimes you need to light a fire under people's ass Josh is a quiet leader.. can't tell me that he is always rallying the troops.. he does his pregame speech and he leads by example.. but Brady and Manning had no problem chewing out players
  8. QTR 2 Cook doesn't fumble and we score it's 13 to 7. QTR 3 Allen throws a TD instead of a pick it's 14 to 16. QTR 4 we score the TD and it's 21 to 16 us. Allen doesn't fumble and Achane doesn't score the TD two plays later it's either still 21 to 16 or even 24 to 16 us. We were not stopped all game. We turned the ball over instead of scoring when we had the chance both in the first half and the second half.
  9. I think we're just talking past each other here. The examples I gave are of HC/GM pairs who reached the pinnacle, had an elite QB under a big contract and reloaded to make another run to the Super Bowl. McD/Bean have failed to successfully RELOAD and we're nearing the point where we may need to rebuild. And I don't want them involved in the rebuild. The only caveat I would throw out is that I'm waiting until the end of this season before deciding that they did in fact fail to reload. If the Bills go on a run and they very well might, then Bean/McD pulled off the reload. Only time will tell.
  10. It's so frustrating haha
  11. That’s somewhat revisionist history. They signed Samuel to a 3-year deal and couldn’t get out of his contract. It’s not like they just could have cut him and re-signed Hollins
  12. Exactly. MVP QB Super powers neutralized by our guys. Get Tyrod back in here!?!
  13. Waddle made him a better CB today. You always have to take the good with the bad. Sure, he got beat long on 1, but if you look at that play, from the second he was beaten, he never gave up, actually closed the gap, but where he went wrong was when he just started flailing away. I think that rep will teach him a lot. That said, he won a number of reps against Waddle today as well. Overall, for a kid playing in his 3rd game, his first start with real playing time, I thought he looked pretty good. Yup.....he got beat. Happens to the best of them. But he kept competing and looked good more often than not. He's going to be CB1 sooner rather than later if you ask me. Lots of tools and you can tell he loves to compete. One of the few bright spots out of a terrible game otherwise.
  14. Yeah, we need more defensive linemen
  15. It's McDermott's scheme and the players they've surrounded Allen with. I'm not going to call Coleman a bust yet, but missing on McConkey is absolute incompetence. I don't care if he's not an "X", he would make our offense much better than Coleman does. He has speed and can create space. Who's doing that consistently for us now?
  16. All of the above, good riddance! You wasted Josh's entire career so far.
  17. It's both. Watching them today in person, we have almost no one ever open past 7 yards. No coverage breakers.
  18. I don't think Palmer will be the savior for this WR group. He did not have great success with the Chargers with Herbert at QB and he certainly was no better than the #2 WR (or even #3 WR at times) for the Chargers over the last few years.
  19. For sure but even after Eagles won the SB they had win totals of 9 9 4 9.. multiple pics in the top 15 The bills haven't had a top 10 pick since Oliver in 2018... We have consistently won more games then the majority of the league Which makes it tough because the league is about parity... We can't keep missing on our second round picks which is supposed to be a bread and butter round in the NFL Like some of the best pure football players go in round 2 and we've been meh
  20. Not so sure about that. There have been rumors that McDermott has been frustrated with Beane because he's asked for things like a receiver multiple times and hasn't gotten it.
  21. It's probably a bit of both But is there a wr on this roster that would be higher than a 3 on any team in the league? Hell how many wr on this team getting snaps wouldn't even make a practice squad of 31 other teams
  22. Would certainly be tougher for the Dolphins unless they traded or hit on a QB. Was also thinking of the Bills and how people think a rebuild after going all in would take three years or more. It doesn't have to when you already have a QB. You can go all in one year and quickly be right back in the thick of contention with some shrewd drafting and scouting.
  23. I was at the game today watching waddle destroy us. What end of the first round wr are we gonna draft as good as that guy??
  24. That is the O. That’s Brady. Curtis can do more than he’s asked to do, he has proven that before he got to Buffalo. You can say the same thing about Elijah Moore. At this point until I see Brady get a WR involved besides throwing them a ***** load of screen passes I have no faith in his passing game.
  25. Those aren’t rebuilds. All of those teams kept the same HC and GM in place. You’re talking about firing a coach and GM. That’s a true rebuild. find me an example in NFL history where that happened? I’ll wait it wasn’t a rebuild. The Chiefs didn’t fire their coach or GM
