  1. Past hour
  2. I would spend the money on condos any make me the owner
  3. I am not sure if you are one of the ones who argued Colorado could remove him from the ballot but this one is almost that bad. If it has to get all the way to the supreme court, they will overturn in 7-2 based on judge not recusing himself, on improper application of law, and improper instructions from the judge. These are not minor things individually, much less in aggregate.
  4. The judge they won't be mad about is the trump appointed Hunter judge, unless of course he does something they don't like. Then he's dEeP sTaTe.
  5. I love the song and the album "Urban Hymns" is superb. An interesting titbit about Bitter Sweet Symphony: "Bitter Sweet Symphony" is based on a sample from a 1965 version of the Rolling Stones song "The Last Time" by the Andrew Oldham Orchestra. The Verve added strings, guitar, percussion and vocals. They obtained rights to use the "Last Time" sample from the copyright holder, Decca Records, but were denied permission from the Rolling Stones' former manager, Allen Klein. Following a lawsuit, The Verve relinquished all royalties and the Rolling Stones members Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were added to the songwriting credits. In 2019, ten years after Klein's death, Jagger, Richards, and Klein's son ceded the rights to The Verve songwriter Richard Ashcroft.
  6. GB, thanks for sharing and to counter, the only game I’ve missed is the SB with GB as I had to travel to CA for a work training. It’s not a Bills game, but it’s the only SB I’ve missed since the mid to late 70’s as I didn’t follow football before. I’m just not that old.
  7. I remember watching this game with my dad. I was 11. I told him I thought they were going to block that FG
  8. Sorry for being a PITA but maybe you got Kobe Bryant mixed up with someone else? Kobe was well known for worling hard but it wasn't because he didn't think he was incredibly talented. He was well known for his supreme arrogance regarding his athletic ability. The guy was drafted into the NBA out of high school . The NBA doesn't draft guys out of high school because tjhey try hard.
  9. Today
  10. Well Liam Gallagher was awsome. A set list of pure joy. Some of the old B sides were so unexpected but brought back memories in my head I didn't l know I had. 11. Personally, I'm worried about our younger folks. It's not that they don't have any taste, it's just that
  12. It also helps them justify their draft picks. I am not a Beane basher but this is just human nature. Not all players even who are just good need a second contract unless that value is truly there.
  13. But I'm not sure McDermott being in a make-or-break season is a reality. Nothing that the Bills have done or said this off-season leads me to believe that is the case. I still think they'd have to miss the playoffs for there to be a change.
  14. Yea he was elite but for a shorter period. He was considered something of a 1st round bust in Chicago but he had a solid 5 year period there with the Panthers where he was right at that elite level and was a bona fide #1 weapon on that team. As you say he isn't in the Gronk, Kelce, Gonzalez tier but he had a solid period of elite play in his career.
  15. Diggs was unique in that his personality became too big and we could get valuable trade assets in return (a likely high 2nd rounder next year). We're not getting that for Knox. Knox may be overpaid but he's bound to have a better season than last year. I trust Brady more than Dorsey to try and make him and Kincaid both part of the passing offense especially without the offense running through Diggs anymore.
  16. You know the answer to it. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure it out.
  17. I think Olsen was elite. Top 10 all time TDs, receptions and yards. Not in the category of Gronk, Kecle and Gonzalez, but those are your top 3 all time in no particular order.
  18. Anyone hear about or see the abuse being dealt out on Caitlin Clark? It’s not a good look for the WNBA, which has been low key on the matter. Clark’s given the league a tremendous boost, the targeting of her is blatant. Why?
  19. I only have one- it's when somebody turns their signal on as I'm passing or about to pass them. Wait until I've ***** passed- now I have no idea if you're not paying attention and are about to jut into my lane, and I'm committed... I can anticipate any stupid ***** going on around me, but for the love of God, please teach your children to lay off the turn signal until the other cars are clear and it's their turn to change lanes.
  20. I never understood why men never taught their women how to crank the engine. Obviously the man had to be at the controls... it just seems so dangerous for the ladies to be in the passenger seat of the vehicle without a sure man at the helm. Miss those old Holiday Inn signs- the world's just gotten so sterile.
  21. I’m vote to put him back on the wall. Treat him like an artist.
  22. bangs... as in the hair I've always rolled the n at the back of my mouth, but if I can stop doing that I'd be pleased as punch... whatever that means. )
  23. I watched that first series by Denver and thought all these years and we still stop the run
  24. I appreciate your well-considered opinions. I shouldn't have actually asked you for names and numbers because I'm still firm in my belief that it's uncommon for teams to break-in two rookie WRs in the same year and even more uncommon for those rookies to make an impact... so I'm still laboring under the belief that it's the exception and not the rule... but I certainly concede your point was proven in the case of the Packers and I thank you for the excellent documentation. As far as championship roster-building, I don't believe that there's one strategy. The best teams have solid rosters with few weaknesses. Super Bowls have been won in many different ways. It's hard to argue against the opinion that the reason the Bills haven't been able to beat KC is due to the failings of their defense. It's too bad the Bills suffered so many significant defensive injuries at the end of last season. And there's certainly a 2024 scenario whereby the Bills score plenty of points (as they did in 13 Seconds) and lose again due to the losses of Poyer and Hyde. It'll be very interesting to see how things play out and who ends up being right.
