  1. Past hour
  2. Well at the beginning of the season we all including the so called "Experts" said given who they brought in to replace the WR's that had left was a big upgrade from last season and it made we the fans believe this was it before it ever started & the SB was ours to have . The dream season was finally here with it being the last season in our old house & it would be the perfect send off for the old gal to give a Lombardi to her for all the years of service the dream was huge, but the new players were less than all those experts said they were or the injury bug bit them . But here we all are with this team sitting this year with some 38 different injured players through out the year with the chance to still be in the play offs and once there you never know what could happen . The Bills have some players getting healthy & others playing good at this time so anything can happen . Have faith Bills Mafia please kick the Boo Birds/haters to the curb and let the cards fall where they may but always stick behind our team !! GO BILLS !!!
  3. BB was a great defensive coordinator before he got to the Patriots. His 1st SB in NE wasn't about Brady but really about great coaching.
  4. Thanks for the disco ear worm.
  5. because this is all he does. Either he’s just trolling 24/7 or he’s shifting the convo in order to not be wrong. Too late
  6. I agree. I've long said that in the NFL especially that players (QB's specifically) make coaches. Look no further than Bill Belichick who has done so much damage to his reputation as a great coach by hanging around the Pats after Brady left. Belichick's record as a head coach with Brady 249-75 without 83-104. In the NFL coaches that have great QB's can win in spite of themselves.
  7. none of us truly truly know but we can draw straws and grasp at what connects dots. Diggs was done with the team and not being featured as he knew his value and was not being used properly. Diggs does not care about the money as much as he does winning and getting the ball. that he did not get the ball and was like Allen Iverson about the approach to his game wore thin on the team. mcDermott needs full buy in from his team and Diggs was a distraction to McD despite Diggs being a good teammate for the most part - as evidence by him being the lone player to go see Hamlin after the incident among other things. Diggs held people accountable and was a force. it wore thin and was labeled as selfish. the "team" view was it was unacceptable and Josh probably did not recognize the value vs. loss of having Diggs. likely thinking Diggs was overexaggerating the issue thinking he was part of the problem. i would imagine josh knows now he could use Diggs who would instantly and by a mile be the best talent on this wr corps. but Diggs did not want to wait around for that to be realized...and here we are.
  8. Haha “I’m not a fire Mcd guy”…but fire him ”I’m not a Vrabel fluffer” …but he has a giant personality !!
  9. So your argument is the because the Bengals have the worst Defense THIS YEAR, the wonership is the worst? The ownership paid their franchise QB and not one but two WR1s---and paid Hendricks at least for another year. This ownership has seen 2 HCs over 23 seasons. This ownership has put back to back teams in the AFCC game in the past 5 years (winning one). Still want to compare to the Bills? Over the same 20+ years, the Jets ownerships has hired 7HCs, burned through at least 11 starting QBs (including dumping 2 1st round QB picks that went on to succeed elsewhere) and have not played in a playoff game in 15 years. The Browns have famously had 10 HCs over the same 23 year period and at least 18 QBs have started games for them. At one point the Browns ownership went though 4 HC's in 6 seasons before hiring the worst professional sports coach in sports history: Hue Jackson. And after Hue went 1-15, did they fire him? Of course not. Did they fire him when he went 0-16 the following year? Not a chance. You could not be more wrong on this.
  10. My sources told me Diggs wanted to spread his seed before he got too old, and if he was to impregnate 3 or 4 ladies in Buffalo, he’d have to show up for birthdays and other holidays in cold weather. So he actively pursued a trade to a warmer climate and, thereafter, started his family.
  11. I believe Diggs was let because McDermott wanted the team to become a running team and Beane just could not afford the luxury and cap space of having Diggs on the team when your focused on running the ball . His final year they ran limited plays for him in the second half of the year so they could get his numbers down & then justify trading him in the offseason. Beanne and McDermott wanted cap space and resources for defensive side of the football despite still sucking bad year after year. Last season we became a run run first offence and Beane convinced himself the receiver room was just fine because we scored 30 points a game for 8 straight games, leaving out the defences we were playing at the time were bad and all the turnovers we were getting that you cannot always rely on. As we can now see, Diggs can still play and was never replaced as Beane promised both the media and fans the day he traded him
  12. Because Diggs wanted to win and he was playing with kitties 🙃
  13. The SCOTUS ruling was about the office of the president having immunity for official acts, just like members of Congress and federal judges have. The ruling saved Obama from prosecution now from drone strikes against American citizens and most likely Russia gate as well.
  14. Lmfao 😂 These are hilarious 🤣
  15. He forced himself off the team.
  16. This thread is like your wife getting angry - without any particular reason - about something that happened 2 years ago and long since resolved.
  17. I’m not a ‘fire McDermott” guy, but I blame him for this. Perhaps the most important part of an NFL Head Coach’s job is managing the egos in the locker room. He lets this one get out of hand, and by the time he tried to reel it in it was too late. I’m not a Vrabel fluffer like so may here, but one thing going for him is his giant personality that sucks all the oxygen out of the room. As an aside, McDermott should be let go now. Not because he’s bad, but because this team needs a new voice in the worst way.
  18. You must have failed math !! You know it's one thing if you have lets say 8 maybe 10 injured players but for christ sake THIRTY EIGHT is not a "Excuse" !! Take in any business your 38 best employees that have made the business successful away and see what the business does, at best it's going to falter for a minute if for nothing else to get the new people up to speed . The Bills are NINE & FOUR & in the play off race with 38 injured players !! Second in their division with a small chance to still be AFC east Champs with out a full roster, beside S**Ting NFL gold bricks WTH do you want ? Oh yah a SB & the coach fired that's right WT*E !!!!!!!! And to add to your reply a coach that has won with as many as 38 injuries players in 1 season !!!
  19. Agree, it was necessary for Josh's mental health and leadership of this team. Diggs has a pattern, he starts as the great teammate and then over times wears out his welcome. He was a godsend his first couple of years, as he was in Minnesota. He is still in his honeymoon period with the Pats-- that Diggs is awesome. But then... And notwithstanding all the issues with the WR room, the offense has been prolific without him by any objective standard. Would it be more prolific with the good Diggs-- almost certainly. But for Buffalo that ship has long sailed.
  20. Josh was done with his nonsense. No way Beane takes that kind of cap hit without Josh on board.
  21. So maybe edit the topic name?
  22. I don't have too much objection to how roughing is called in the NFL. There are plays where you see the defender will let up on a QB hit and plays where the defender doesn't. The latter is what the NFL is trying to enforce. The same is true for "body weight" roughing fouls when the defender has to try not to land on the QB with his entire body weight. In both cases avoiding a foul is possible and refs want to see the defender attempt to lessen the force. It bears mentioning that it usually sucks watching a game with 2nd string QBing. The "roughing" calls I don't like are when they call a "hit to the head" when a defender's hand brushes against a QB's helmet. Too often such cases are not really roughing (excessive force) and aren't deserving of a personal foul, IMO.
  23. I have a feeling this isn’t going to cut the event time down. Just more time for ad breaks and analysis. They’ll probably make a halftime show at the rate of viewership the draft draws in
  24. yeah from what I am reading there has to be more to this than "he wanted out".
  25. I'd say where McD has gotten this roster to is pretty dam good considering all that he has to work with . The older players that everyone complains about although not as good as they once were are performing & showing flashes like Jordan Phillips & Poyer . 9 & 4 and being in the wild card race into the play offs and still having a chance although slight as it may be to be the AFC east champs once again is pretty amazing ! I can only imagine if Ed, Hoecht, Max, and all of those that have been injured weren't . I believe this roster healthy could easily be 11 & 2 right now if healthy .
