Pitts had a lot of good attributes in addition to his size and speed. He ran a full receiving route and was a willing blocker in college. It's not that he's been bad as a pro if he was picked in the 20's instead of 4th overall he would be looked at as a draft "hit" instead of someone whose underperformed. Pitts had 1k as a rookie and after a injury in year two has back to back 600 yard seasons in years 3 and 4. So it isn't like he's unproductive. He's just not really lived up to highest drafted at his position ever billing thus far. He's only 25 and Vernon Davis who was drafted 6th overall at TE got off to a slower start to his career as his first 3 years were underwhelming. And Davis had a break out in 2009 at age 25. So I wouldn't write Pitts off just yet. Is he a fit for the Bills? No, I don't think he makes sense but I think another TE hungry team could come calling and get a good player for a 3rd round pick or so.

Who was invited to Josh and Hailee's wedding?
Mango replied to Willie West's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a relatively A-List wedding. Those things are generally huge. I would be shocked if there weren't at least 30 Bills currently on the roster in attendance. Then you have the ones that left that he's close with. It would be kind of crazy for a $300M QB not to invite most of his OL and WR room that's still on the roster from last year. Who gets invited to wedding for the mega wealthy is a totally different world. -

Who was invited to Josh and Hailee's wedding?
Gregg replied to Willie West's topic in The Stadium Wall
I looked it up and apparently, he did. Yes, Brian Daboll and other Buffalo Bills players were present at Josh Allen's wedding on May 31, 2025. Players like Dawson Knox, Spencer Brown, and Mitch Trubisky were spotted supporting Allen during the ceremony, indicating their involvement in the event1. -

I was about to mention RB Jonathan Williams who was drafted in the fifth round of 2016 and hung on with a few teams as a special teams ace but it appears his last season was '23 with Washington.

Who was invited to Josh and Hailee's wedding?
Bermuda Triangle replied to Willie West's topic in The Stadium Wall
It appears that nobody from the defensive side of the ball did either. I wonder if Daboll was there, as Allen was pretty close to Daboll when he was OC - from what I recall, when Allen heard of his grandmother's passing, Daboll was a pillar for him. -
They're not going to cut him at this point. Like someone said earlier, it's probably a benefit to us for him to stay with them and be a distraction. If they don't have at least 3-4 wins by mid-season, Diggs is going to stir up more. It's gonna be funny if fans troll him with pink powder every away game he plays.

Since when does a stadium need curb appeal? Highmark doesn’t even have a facade; never heard a complaint about that. -
The biggest targets of AI are going to be entry-level coding jobs, stuff that’s dead simple to automate. Not great news for people who had “learn to code” drilled into them.

At one point we were offering electricians $10,000 sign on bonuses because we were so desperate in some locations. -
The Dareus trade pissed me off. We were 4-2 and looking ok, surprisingly. The defense immediately started getting gashed including 300 rushing yards conceded to the Saints. And we netted a 6th, conditional 5th round pick. Keep him for the season and let him walk. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/2017.htm You can easily spot the where in the schedule we traded Dareus by looking at rushing yards against. Its amazing the drought ended in a year where Peterman started 2 games and the roster was gutted.

My kid’s at Moog, says they can’t fill jobs and are incentivizing eligible retirees to stay on. Plus there’s been an uptick in Defense contracts and not just there. STEM sounds a good way to go. Would venture to say it’s better now than awhile back, two of mine graduated with B.E. around 2007, it wasn’t a smooth transition into the work market then. When I dropped out of H.S., granted it was in the ‘70’s, trades were near impossible to get in. Had a neighbor who was a union rep in the Iron Workers saying he’d get me in, after a year, I gave up. Now trades are so desperate they advertise on the radio around here in Buffalo. Again, don’t think you can go wrong there either.
