  1. Past hour
  2. I’ve never loved Brady’s offense, but I can’t blame him much for Palmer’s production. Palmer played with Herbert in LA, he didn’t really produce much. Palmer putting up big numbers would have been a surprise imo.
  3. Trump must be a lib nut too then. We can see that with his bruised hands and kankles.
  4. The Pats are going to have their hands full with the Saints this weekend. Spread is Pats -3.5. Saints should cover the spread and have a decent chance of winning outright. Pats just won a big game on a Sunday night now go on the road against a Saints team who isn’t that bad. Outside of a bunch of special teams blunders and turnovers in the Seattle game they have been in every other game. I think the Saints have a great shot to beat them. Should be a close game either way.
  5. We got nothing out of our first 3 last year. Bishops seems to be coming along this year, Carter is a bust & Keon is underwhelming. Maybe they make an impact next year.
  6. Kind of sickening that your first three picks in the 2025 draft are a mess.
  7. Yeah, guys like a Chase and Jefferson are in the one percentile of receivers in the league.
  8. Shrinkage By Bill Glahn Are mass federal layoffs here? NBC News reports, Trump administration begins ‘substantial’ federal worker layoffs amid shutdown. Details, Affected agencies include the departments of Interior, Homeland Security, Treasury, Education, Energy, Housing and Urban Development and Health and Human Services, as well as the Environmental Protection Agency, according to an administration official. What are they to do? Congress never passed a 2025 budget, apparently. The money ran out the last day of the fiscal year, September 30. Thanks to the Senate filibuster, Democrats won’t provide the votes to extend current spending levels. Starting next week, federal workers won’t get paid. In return for votes, Democrats want to reverse all of the gains made under Trump 2.0 in every area. So, there is no obvious way to resolve the impasse. It will certainly not be resolved as long as Democrats think they are winning. Republicans hold the White House and both houses of Congress. But, thanks to the filibuster, Democrats believe that they are in a position to dictate all government policy. The layoff notices are just a formality, a courtesy, if you will. Government is broke, de jure, and with $38 trillion in debt, broke, de facto. https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2025/10/shrinkage.php#google_vignette
  9. Bills 2025 draft- Round 1 • Pick 30 (30) • CB Maxwell Hairston- has yet to play a preseason or regular season game yet. When does he come back? How do we onboard him? Round 2 • Pick 9 (41) • DT T.J. Sanders- a few flashes and a lot more mistakes. On IR Round 3 • Pick 8 (72) • EDGE Landon Jackson- can’t earn a Game Day Jersey. Round 4 • Pick 7 (109) • DT Deone Walker- Deone looks to be a steal in the 4th. He will only get better. 4th rounder Deone and 5th rounder Hawes are saving this draft! Round 5 • Pick 34 (170) • CB Jordan Hancock- versatile and athletic. Jordan had some up and down playing time. He flashed at times. He’s been injured. Round 5 • Pick 37 (173) • TE Jackson Hawes- a Beast! Jackson loves to smash people! What an asset! Man he is fun to watch. Nice pick Beane! Round 6 • Pick 1 (177) • CB Dorian Strong- looked good and had nice potential. Has a neck injury, which is never good. Round 6 • Pick 30 (206) • OT Chase Lundt- Chase has length. Kromer will coach him up. His roster spot is probably in the 50s, and Bills might try and sneak on practice squad when players return from suspensions and injuries Round 7 • Pick 24 (240) • WR Kaden Prather- Pick 240. We finally selected a WR for Josh! Didn’t work out though So for the near while, Bills won’t have their 1st round pick, due to injury. they won’t have their 2nd round pick, due to injury, they won’t have their 3rd round pick, because he can’t earn Jersey. 4th round is great pick. Our first 5th pick, won’t play, injury. 2nd 5th is a Beast. 6th round has neck injury- can’t play. 7th round cut . 4 rookie Contributers out with injuries. Hawes and Deone are great additions!
  10. Thanks. i think it could matter depending on the length of recovery. If they can retroactively save a week, and the scope/clean up/repair or whatever is 4-6 weeks, factoring in the 3 week window to return and the bye week, who knows. that said, I tend to think McDermott and staff never rush anyone back so it’s likely they’ll just take their time on this to be sure they are good to go for the back end of the year. Factor in a healthy Ed and the return of O gun, it’s going to mean they don’t have to maneuver the roster at all for a bit. With those moves to IR, we have two open spaces. I am guessing Logue gets the call to the 53 since he is out of call ups. It’d make sense that whoever takes the Hamlin spot is able to play special teams, so I’m not so sure Poyer is the move here
  11. Hamlin is a backup and ST player this year. Hancock might take his spot, but he won't be starting at safety.
  12. Elite WRs get wide open with elite route running. Ja'Marr Chase makes DBs trip over their own feet. But he's one of the best WRs in the history of the game.
  13. You make illegal motion one of the penalties that can be called using instant replay. How many times have we seen a tush push where the replay shows the guards leaving early? They have a camera looking right down the line on all the snaps, and if there's illegal procedure it shows right up.
  14. I dont understand why Eagles fans melting down but I'm going to speculate that it has to do with fans and media expecting more due to that team's talent level. That's a great freaking team they put together. There's always been a knock on Siriani being a bad coach despite winning the sb adding to the controversy.
  15. NFL defenses usually don't take long to catch up to what the current NFL offenses or what QBs are doing. When Buffalo had Stephon Diggs as their #1 WR and threw a lot of passes his way, he caught a lot of passes tight up until the playoffs when teams have better players and better schemes.. Then, not so good, in fact, in his last game in Buffalo against the Chiefs had 8 targets for 3 receptions for 21 yards. Pretty crappy for #1 WR in the playoffs, and this was not the first time he disappeared in the playoffs. What a lot of Bills fans don't get is that opposing teams pick their poison on how they want to stop an offense like Buffalo. The Bills have a speedy WR in Curtis Samuel, who runs a 4.31-4.37, who has enough speed to catch those deep balls, "IF" Buffalo wanted to throw deep. Palmer is another who can get separation "IF" the Bills choose to throw to him. Right now, Palmer has a completion percentage of 50% which is not that good. A lot of the Buffalo offense comes down to how much Joah Allen trusts his receivers. Shakir and Coleman both have 29 targets each, and Coleman has a better success percentage in catches at 69%. Shakir is at 55.2, Kincade is at 66.7. Knox at 60%. Moore has a 40%. Whom do you think JA trusts the most? The Buffalo offense under Joe Brady has become a "run first" offense with a tough, gritty pound-it-out run game. This has improved the offense by keeping turnovers somewhat limited, as Josh doesn't need to put on the cape and take as many chances. Buffalo can still throw the ball better than most, as we go back and watch that fourth quarter against the Ravens. Buffalo, with their bend but don't break defense, means they don't want to give up the big play, so they allow teams to nickel and dime them up the field, with the Bills looking for them to make a mistake along the way. Last season, they did as Buffalo led the league in turnover ratio at +24. Meaning they also didn't turn the ball over on offense by taking chances with low-percentage pass plays.
  16. Training staff gotta get these guys doing an hour of yoga every day
  17. He cannot be worse than what has been out there
