Do you see the Pats* winning any of those Bills games, or the Bills losing any of the Pats games? Me, neither. That doesn't necessarily mean the Bills are better, but neither does it mean the Pats are.

Funny how fans and pundits don't really take such key details into account before spouting hyperbole. Allen gets hammered by an elite Texans pass rush, while Maye plays pitch and catch against the weakest three teams in the league, and they conclude that Maye is as good as Allen, maybe better. It's like they're little children shouting out answers in third grade.

Bills are still eligible to lose two out the three. And the Patriots could beat the Mills Davis Texans, the currently broken Eagles and the broken 2025 Chiefs.  Probably not all three. But they would not likely lose all three.   The real issue is the the Bills lost to the Dolphins, and Falcons.  (and the Patriots head to head) .

Today I’m working a right down from the street from Foxboro.  There is a steady light snow right now.  I made sure to wear my Bills Rule the East shirt today.  Pats fans are talking mad *****.  I said “are you still going to talk trash after Buffalo pummels Patriots?”.  Most Pats fans I find to be stupid and arrogant

Pats will be going after the ball especially with Cook fumbling of late.

I had the same thought, especially with the film of them practicing on Cook stand-ins. Cook better be ready because the outcome of this game will likely be determined by turnovers, just like the last one.

The last time these two teams faced each other in Buffalo, week 5, the Bills were 4-1, and the Patriots 3-2. Buffalo had 4 sacks on Maye, and Diggs went off on the Bills with 12 targets, 10 catches for 146 yards. I suspect this game, Maye will go to his TEs more.

The Patriots' OC, Josh McDaniels had been setting up his young QB's game plans so much better than what the Bills have in Joe Brady. Both Bosa, Josh Palmer, and Bernard have all been limited this week.

This game makes me nervous...

Maybe. I think the bottom line is that no one really knows how good the Patriots team is, despite the mindless hype. They were promising but bad last year. Are they suddenly elite, in one year? That seems unlikely, even with improvements to the roster, a new coach, and Maye a year more experienced. More likely is that they've gotten a lot better but are not yet in the top tier, a good team that has stacked up wins against bottom feeders while staying exceptionally healthy all year. An up-and-coming 9-4 or 8-5 team for whom the stars have aligned so far this season. A team overdue for a reality check. Regression to the mean, baby.

Exactly. And what is important to note: this doesn't mean the Patriots are not good. The Patriots are playing who they play and looking good. The losses dlnnot mean the Bills are bad, either.

The thing that interests me is that Bills have nothing to lose in this game and no pressure. They're in the playoffs & they know it. They know that January resets everything.

The Patriots want to be the king, want to win the East... They gotta prove it here. Can they hold up to the pressure?

If the Bills win today the Bills will just keep playing football until the playoffs. They know it helps in the AFCE but they have been here over many years.

If the Patriots lose they'll have slipped, lost a game after Meatheads bye & be one step closer to losing the AFCE and more pressure.

The Bills have nothing to lose and that both scares me and excites me. They'll play more relaxed.

I expect the Bills to win in strong fashion because they're getting hot. I think the Patriots need to lose a game now before the playoffs to start that hot streak they'll need to make a run.

It'll be interesting.

Complete opposite. All the pressure is on buf. They lose they give pats the div. Hats and tshirts on the field.

if buf wins. No big deal pats are def not gonna lose to jets and mia. Still winning the division

Pats could easily lose to Miami if Miami has something to play for in week 18, and the Bills would win the division in that case if both end at 13-4

I think you misunderstand the professional athlete. The glitz and glamour do not do as much for most of them. It's just a job most days.

The reason that the Patriots need to win is to convince themselves they're IT.

The Bills have been there before and know the effort and road it takes. They're a December team with a proven track record.

Miami running the ball will give them a fit. New England / Miami has always been a weird matchup.

That's a lot right?

What's so funny to me is the statement that's only 3 games different on the schedule between the 2...

NE*: Giants, Titans, Raiders

Bills: Eagles, Texans, Chiefs

They also had the Bengals without Burrow and Chase. Might be the same team as us, but it’s a totally different game with those two.

Next week they’ll get the Ravens who don’t look like the he did against us week 1 as well. With that being said, those 3 games are huge, when it comes down to a game or two difference for the division.

The Patriots are expecting to win this game. Their "fans" are 100% expecting them to embarrass the Bills today and rub their noses in it. They are expecting for Diggs to put on a show on the field and on the sidelines. It will be a monumental letdown if they fail to beat the Bills.

Drake Maye reached Josh Allen's level of play much sooner than expected https://share.google/mNZrsuViOsYpOuhLz

Pats fans read articles like this telling them that Drake Maye is already at "Josh Allen's level."

Think Tim Robinson GIF by NETFLIX

That's some hubris but sadly typical of Boston sports fans. I hope this story is up on the billboard of the Bills locker room today.

How ridiculous is it that people like Kurt Warner and all these other media pundits say the Patriots have the more complete team after finishing 4-13 last year and getting owned by us for years. Just shows how much Beane has failed as a GM
