it's funny watching the scenario's that have the chiefs getting into the playoffs at 10-7.  Just 2 weeks ago there was some dude here that insisted the bills would miss on tie breakers at 11-6 due to 6 AFC teams having an 11-6 record (somehow the chiefs made it in over us in over us in the 1/10,000 simulation).

 

Also, having flashbacks to a decade ago.  Stop guys, fortunately we don't need to talk ourselves into the "we're still in the hunt".  No need to cause yourself stress doing it for the chiefs.

Houston is going to be the 3 seed making them a legit round 1 game for us - or a game in Houston at any point.  
 

Never should have been that score except the refs helping the Chiefs with phantom penalties early in the game to keep them out of the endzone.

You know those Tyreek Hill/Mahomes Chiefs offenses?  
 

The Texans have the defense version of that.

Yeah, I kinda think if we play Houston again, the OL and Josh will take it personally. They got embarrassed on national TV. 

 

I acknowledge that their defense is amazing this year, but their offense isn't good enough to outscore Josh Allen twice in the same season. I like our odds in a rematch.

It was a close game but we also needed a kick off return TD to keep it close. I don't like our odds of getting another one of those. 

 

Either way, it looks like the Jags should actually be able to win that division. Pretty soft schedule for them to finish.

There’s a very real possibility of this being a playoffs with no Mahomes, Lamar or Burrow.

 

Yes, defense means something and home field means something. But so does having the best QB by a mile.
