I know he was active but I don't recall seeing him and he is not on the stat sheet.  Did they hold him out for some reason?

He is coming out of the concussion protocol.

I couldve sworn there was a snap count thread from last night, maybe it got merged in the Post Game thread.

IIRC, it was: White 30 snaps, Hairston 13

Something like that. I'm more confident on the 13 number. As @BuffaloBill, he was limited for a reason.

When you don't hear the name of a cornerback it's usually a good thing

fwiw, i focused the 3rd quarter as best i could on T Johnson. He played solid. I was convinced that the Steelers would work the shortgame to start the second half. He was glued to his defenders. As I watched Johnson i kept seeing White who was playing step for step with the defenders.

In the first half i watched Milano any snap he was on the field. he seemed to be like his former self and it was a good scheme to mix him and Dorian Williams.

Taron probably played his best game in 2 years imo.

The Steelers were a wounded animal offensively, but credit where credit is due.

Worth noting that White had a very good game!

It is worth noting.  He was very good.  Also worth noting is that he was mostly covering jags and tight ends.

He had some special teams snaps too.

Bengals will be a good test for the kid.  A real offense with a QB that isn't over the hill and a good coach who knows how to beat our team.   We will need  Max to be on point for this one.  He still has so much to learn the kid just needs reps and to put down lots of film on himself.

He got handsy a bit early, on a couple of occasions. Watched the game with my son, and we kept giving each other the big eye look, just waiting for a flag.

That being said, Tre has been a lot better the last few games.  I think early on in the season, he was not fully healthy and was a serious liability. He's at least been solid.

He looks a whole lot better than he did early... not sure we dont need to upgrade... but at least he isnt a rented mule...

It helped that Rodgers couldn't find a receiver.

Hold on for a second, isn’t the implication that if Rodgers couldn’t find a receiver it was because they were covered? Wouldn’t that imply that the DBs, which includes Tre White, were playing well?

What I mean was Rodgers sailed a lot of passes. Better throws might have been caught but we'll never know for sure.

Eyeball test, agreed Milano absolutely had extra pep to his step yesterday.

I dunno if hes been banged up as of late, as i have not even wanted to look into injuries... Hopefully that's it.

I also worry the Steelers just arent very good, and also had a bad night. Ill leave it to someone smarter than me to look all-22.

My likelihood guess is a mixed bag of some guys finally getting healthier as well as a bad night from Pittsburgh

holding even a struggling offense to 7 points is remarkable, however.
