QCity Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Where will the money go? All net proceeds from all county-owned assets and products will go to Erie County, according to the news release. Starting to make sense. 1 Quote
BADOLBILZ Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I got a string of like 5 of the lower bowl seats for $15 when they replaced those like 20 years ago or so. Those seats saw teams win AFCCG at home 3 times. There were just piles and piles of them. But they WERE being sold even then. Hammer had a bunch of them in the junk area behind his garage too. Quote
Steptide Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Did I read somewhere that the profit from these goes back toward the taxes for the new stadium? Quote
FormerLV-BILLS Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Things are different nowadays. I actually thought they'd be more expensive. I've been a season ticket holder for 26 years and I couldn't wait to buy them for my man cave. I bought my two today. I'm a Pirates fan, and also have two yellow seats from Three Rivers stadium's upper deck. People love those when they visit. And when they tore down the Igloo, they sold everything in that place. Wayfinding signage, concessions board, seating charts. I have a few things from there as well. It's all just great memories and how they make you feel everytime you look at them. I have a pretty tastefully done mancave, and I couldn't wait for these. I'll take this deal any day over a worthless PSL in which a lot of folks are going to undoubtedly regret. I'm ashamed to be an NFL fan sometimes. Oh well. I'm pretty sure they could have gotten $1000 or more for these. 2 Quote

Never NEVER Give-up Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 7 hours ago, Kirby Jackson said: Here are my thoughts on the topic from last month: I’m not denying there’s a market for them. I’d probably talk myself into getting mine. Lol, it’s more “why?” I can see a sports bar wanting to display them. I was at Tully’s the other day and I’m 90% sure they have old stadium seats in there somewhere. Maybe Bennigan’s will pull down some upside down unicycles and replace them with conjoined plastic chairs? It’s the personal ownership that I’m struggling with. I’ll probably get excited and waste money on mine. I’ll bring it home and put it in the garage until I “find a better place for it.” It’ll sit there for about 3 months before I start getting questions about “what do you plan to do with that?” After another 3 months I’ll start getting asked, “why don’t you put that in your office or to the curb?” Obviously, I’m not going to put it in my office because my office is nice and throwing a couple of random plastic chairs in the corner does nothing to elevate the aesthetic. Another 3 months will go by and the pressure mounts to get them out of the garage. After 3 more months, the walls have caved in and something will have to give. I’ll give them both to my developmentally disabled cousin who will think that they’re amazing. After 2 months my aunt will be all over him to get rid of them because they don’t go in his apartment. 3 days will pass and he will sell them on Facebook marketplace for $32 a piece. I’ll have to drive over to his house, load them in the car, and drive to a Wegman’s parking lot to meet the buyer so that my cousin can collect $64. He will put that $64 towards Madden ‘28. Well . . . at least you've got it all figured out! 7 hours ago, Bills!Win! said: How does a non-season ticket holder purchase a seat? Buffalo716 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago They can't stop 20,000 of you! Now I'm usually not one to suggest activities like this.. but this is an icon closing Seriously like I said start bringing in plastic wrenches or screwdrivers just to get ready to take your seat And the last home game finish it off and run off... They can't stop everybody lol 1 1 Quote

I get it that it is a business, but this level of greed is getting obnoxious. I dont believe the Bills organization gets any of the money. I think its county or the state. Half of it will go to the 3rd part company doing the work on this. Its that company that is setting the price. I was listening to something about it on 930am radio the other day. Yes, I agree the prices are ridiculous but don't blame the Bills for those prices. I think they said it was the same company that did Yankee stadium. Edited 2 hours ago by Scott7975 Quote
James Can Cook Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago $600 covers the entire cost of two seats but you will only need the edge watching a Joe Brady offense! Quote

Herc11 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I'm pretty sure the stadium is Erie County property. This money grab has nothing to do with the Bills, and everything to do with the local government. The Bills have zero say in what Erie County does with their property. The county gets half the money and the 3rd party that is doing all the work on this gets the other half. The Bills are getting nothing out of it. Quote
