The Bills still have an 84% chance of making them even with the loss. They even had the graphic up during the game. I don’t think they’ll go very far, but they most definitely are getting in.

I saw it as well.  And I agree it's likely but nothing is guaranteed until we clinch.

I think we get in, but with how inconsistent this team has been I can see a world we don't. Which is crazy to me

If we do get in, I think we will have as good a shot as anyone and I hope we go in 🔥

I'm saying that they will just barely make it into the post season, but they won't last long.

D's win championships and we haven't reached that point in our 8 year process yet.

Just need ONE more defensive draft😒

Anything can happen. The funny thing is the Bills play well against the good teams which are the ones they will be facing.

If we beat steelers-yes

Yeah that gives us time breakers over pretty much every wild card contender except Hou and Jax

Remaining schedule is not exactly easy.  I only see one sure win (Jets) the others are all very losable, especially if Rodgers and Burrow are playing

At Pitt (50%)

Bengals (75%, 50 if Burrow plays)

At NE (40%)

at Cle (75%)

Philly (40%)

Jets (99%)

There is no such thing as a sure win no matter which team is playing... this goes for any team. How many people got bounced out of their survivor league last year... right off the bat.

They probably do as a WC

But i would rather they miss out for a few reasons:

1. There is a very slight chance that Pegula might make a necessary change or two. Not holding my breath in any event.

2. Pats would be assured of the (theoretically) tougher schedule in 2026.

3. Higher draft picks in each round because let's face it - we need a re-tool. Not that Beane knows what to do with them anyway.

4. A longer rest period would probably help our recovery and give us more time to plan for the future

5. The entire organisation might finally stop drinking its own bathwater. Heck, they might even consider getting an X receiver.

I do think that after nearly a decade things can get "stale" at any place of employment.  The message has been said so long that it just becomes a catch phrase and not a rally cry

I gave this a thumbs up - great points. The only thing I don't agree with is that I'd still rather make the playoffs, just because I'm shortsighted and it's more fun to be in the playoffs.  But there are significant silver linings to missing the playoffs entirely.

I can't shake this weird feeling that the brain trust for the Bills isn't on the same page as the fanbase.  I feel like they're stubborn, and they've shown that.  Missing the playoffs might be a needed wake-up call.

If we aren’t going to win the Division (highly unlikely but watch CIN beat NE this weekend), we need to be in a position where Week 18 means nothing.

Allen beat up all season.  Bosa playing hurt.  List goes on and on.  That has to be a rest week unless it’s win and in or win and we get the division somehow.

Yes, I am of the position that we cannot get a Lombardi as a WC and therefore anything from getting beaten in a Superbowl (which just means that you're the best loser) to missing a playoff spot is the same thing.

You may as well reset and go again. An overhaul is essential.

Cleveland with Gabriel or Sanders isn't an easy win?  Crazy talk

We win Cleveland and Jets for sure.  Pitt is a likely win if Rodgers is out and on a long week of rest.

That leaves the need to potentially win 1 of NE/Cinci/Philly to for sure make the playoffs.

Cleveland has a very good defense. Could be a repeat performance from last night

Cleveland offense is nothing compared to Houston.  Houston has a passable wild card offense - Cleveland is terrible.

I think they’ll make the playoffs still but the more important question is can they win in the playoffs?

I don’t think they can go on the road and beat Denver, Baltimore, Indy, Houston or even Jacksonville.

Bills will easily make the playoffs. People on this board are WAY overreacting.

People are acting like the Bills lost to the Jets or something.

That Houston team at home is tough with that defense and will give any team in the NFL problems and already has. All of their 5 losses are to playoff teams and all by only one score.

They beat the 49ers by double digits, beat Baltimore by 34 points. ( Yes without Lamar but don’t think it would have mattered) they still would have beaten Baltimore.

Bills lost on the road to them and still had a chance to win. Allen took too many sacks but things can be adjusted for that. The Bills main issue is turnovers. They need to get that cleaned up.

All 4 losses they have had the Bills have turned the ball over more than one time. 3 of 4 losses they have had 3 turnovers in. They keep those to one or less and they probably only have one loss at the most.

The Bills season will come down to how they take care of the Ball the rest of the way. They were only able to overcome 2 or more turnovers once, against Tampa. That’s once out of 5 games with more than one turnover. 20% win rate.

So we will see if they start taking care of the Ball the rest of the way or not.
