Ridiculous

It's not the QBs job to have the team prepared to play

No offense but when your quarterback is getting paid $350 million dollars it always falls on the quarterback

For 50 years the quarterback gets the glory and he gets the criticism

If your team doesn't look up the play it's on your franchise quarterback to get them up

I've seen Peyton Manning screaming at Hall of famers because they weren't playing up to his standard.. Josh has earned the right to hold players accountable

That is the truth Peyton Manning is a gold standard Josh should follow that.. doesn't make you a bad teammate.. if you hold people to your standard..

You're a bad teammate if you scream at people and you don't have a standard

Josh honestly lost all his leading fire as soon as we traded for diggs.. who became a vocal leader

And Josh has been quiet ever since.. I'm 100% for Josh getting fire back and holding people accountable because he is one of the few players who has earned the right to do that

Nah not buying this

And neither are the players tbh. Pry sure the vets stopped listening to the messaging after 13 seconds. They'll win games on talent and because they're professionals but until we get rid of McDermott there's a hard cap on the whole operation

I thought this team doesn't have any talent according to people?

It's Josh Allen and 51 bums

He should at least get on the bums I want to see fire

You’re talking to an Allen hater.

Props to Brown for playing through a mountain of pain. Respect that.

He was actually hurting the team by not tapping out sooner. At least one or two drives where he was obviously unable to use his right arm, as a RIGHT TACKLE, and Van Demark was available to step in, right? Pretty sure Dawkins was on the field.

Not to mention how coaches didn't get him out of there after the first drive when he was hurt (unless RVD was being used and I'm misremembering?). How is that allowed to go on for so long?

I mean at the end of the day Tom Brady would chew out players and so would Peyton Manning

You follow your leader which is your quarterback

I'm not blaming Josh... We've all seen this team doesn't rise every week compared to what it's sometimes does against a big time opponent

Sean McDermott has been the same guy for 9 years.. he is consistent

Josh gives us way more ebbs and flows.. I understand the grind of a 17 game regular season with postseason and even Tom Brady didn't wake up 17 times

If Josh is saying they wanted it more he also means it includes him.. not that he's the problem

When Josh has the troops riled up... You usually see a different team

This was a short week on the road a great defense.. maybe the bills don't care if they have to play the Patriots in the postseason because they think they're going to wake up for that and they're not worried enough one game take all

I'm just spitballing... Because we have to hope

I mean yeah I agree. And my psychoanalysis of Josh, and again these are just my thoughts that many will disagree with, and that’s fine being a public forum…but he’s gonna stay humble and be a good teammate and a good soldier because he’s the guy who was never supposed to be here and he somehow is. And I’m sure in some weird way that is always going to be in the back of his mind. Sometimes we see things spiral and unravel when he makes mistakes and that’s a confidence thing. The only hope for change is that he turns on these guys, and it just isn’t going happen.

Josh sometimes feels like he’s happy to be here. Brady was a killer, he was more like F you, I’m the man…you thought I wasn’t, you doubted me, now I’m going to aggressively make you pay for years for doubting me. And his coach was a POS who was out to embarass people week to week by any means necessary. Our guy is a nice guy who claps and our QB is a nice guy who is happy to be here. And while that can have good vibes, it typically doesn’t win. Iron sharpens iron, championship teams push each other to the brink. True leadership sometimes forces you to be the bad guy and that’s where Josh has to get to for this to work.

He needs to be a dick, like Brady, like Rodgers, like Mahomes. He kinda needs to call out his teammates and coaches, but instead he blames himself every week. Either that or we need a coach who is a dick who will get the best out of his players. This nice-nice stuff just doesn’t win the majority of the time. Somebody needs to do something to shake things up.

What a great opportunity this season could have been too with the chiefs and Ravens struggling while holding wins over them.  Instead we lose to Atlanta, Miami and Houston lol.  Such a disappointment

This team is so Jekyll and Hyde. Getting sick of Brady's predictable play calling.

Maybe the wild card path is this team's route to the Super Bowl. Winning the division hasn't been working.

One good thing about living in Hawaii and watching a game like this is that it ends before 7 pm, which gives me enough time to process everything so I can actually sleep.

Time to take several days off from this board. Gonna suck here.

Perhaps. At least the wild card path puts the chip back on their shoulder some. Maybe they become road warriors. Josh is typically at his best when everyone thinks he blows and he feels like he has to prove the haters wrong.

That's the difference Josh feels like he's this underdog cuz he didn't have a high school scholarship

But He was a top 10 NFL pick .. would have probably been the number one pick if he came out the year before

Everybody saw his talent once he blossomed.. the problem was he was so green it was 50/50 if he was going to be able to correct his flaws

Which might I add as a scout still I've always said Josh Allen is eight bad games in a row away from reverting to bad form... Like 1/2 of a season being beat up and all his mechanics that he's cleaned up can go away

He's not guaranteed to be the best player in NFL history

he still has a lot to grow.. which is amazing because he is the most talented player I've ever seen

He should embrace his dog status.. he's the alpha male of the Wolfpack...

Brady's the reverse opposite.. he was actually a pretty big high school recruit.. Michigan a blue blood did offer him a scholarship.. he was a top 20 quarterback recruit... Even though he went there with the nation's number one in the same class which made people doubt him

So he was actually touted out of high school.. he was also drafted to the majors in baseball... So Brady's a freak athlete despite his weird frame.. his intangible athleticism which is basically impossible to measure is off the charts.. consistently critiquing and getting better

But he used his 198th overall draft pick slot to fuel his flame for 20 years even though he did go to a blue blood college.. Rose bowl MVP

Josh technically has the pedigree with his pick and athleticism... He needs to embrace the dog that he had in him when everybody was calling him trash

That's the difference everybody hated him and he proved the world wrong and now he's being called the most talented ever

Brady was still never called the most talented over Peyton Manning at 30 which made him work harder

The offensive line losing getting this demolished as much as they did shocked me.  Allen's also got to throw the darn ball away too.  He was so much better at that last year.

Disagree, a lot of QB's are in that 300 - 400 million range now and some are vocal and some aren't.  But what I can say about all of them is that Allen has by far the weakest group of offensive skill players surrounding him.

No offense but when you invest 350 million dollars into your QB you best prioritize surrounding him with the best possible talent & coaching.  To do anything other then that is football malpractice.

Well that's the thing Daniel Jones had 4 year 160 million contract giants too but he's trash he didn't deserve that

There are like three or four quarterbacks in the world who have earned the right to chew out players

Josh Allen and Patrick mahomes are absolutely two people who have earned the right to lay into their teammates.. just like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning

Yes we need to give him more people around him.. we want Josh to be the best ever and we say he's the best ever? You cannot say he's a better leader than Tom Brady or Peyton Manning at 29 right now

He might be better at everything else but those guys held everybody accountable because they earned it and their work ethnic let them.. Josh has the gold captain icon... He's the MVP he is Buffalo

He should be able to yell it lineman wide receivers whoever and get their head into the game

Peyton Manning laid into Hall of famers when their head wasn't in it Josh has earned it

The problem with throwing the ball away is for most of those sacks he would have been nailed for intentional grounding.  This isn't the first time this season the O line has struggled in pass pro but it was the worst. And I suspect it will only get worse as every team going forward plays one high safety and 10 guys all within 7 yards of the LOS.

I thought he has the opportunity to get rid of a few otherwise

He got sacked 8 times and lost 70 yards … would the grounding calls been a worse result ?

Loss of down and the ball spotted where he was sacked.

I get that this play wouldnt have mattered, but in the moment, why doesn't Josh throw this to Knox? I mean he's wide open for an easy first and possibly scores? Again it wouldn't have mattered but still...I feel like this has been happening ALOT this year where Josh isnt seeing open stuff.
