With Bosa playing with one arm and Epenesa looking like a f#ckin concussion zombie on the field last Sunday the current, still-effective version of Clowney would be a Godsend.

Is our bar that low??? 😑

There's gotta be a CFL or Rugby player out there somewhere 😃

He's still a starting caliber, top 50 edge in the NFL.   The Bills have been playing DT's TJ Sanders and Daquan Jones edge snaps the past couple games and they have been just awful.   It's a bad situation.

If the bills put a wr on ir, sign Gabe to the 53 obviously. But I would be interested in KJ Hamler coming back to the ps.

Still very fast, return ability and good locker room guy. I think he would be good depth.

I'll play slight devil's advocate here...

Eventually, Gabe will need to be brought up to the Main Roster. We've got 7 games left and he should be in the lineup every week. I don't think we should go 5 of those 7 games without him.

Now it's probably more likely that someone will get injured and IR'ed from the room (hopefully not) or whomever we cut from the WR room to make room for him (Elijah Moore is the most likely candidate imo) will be brought back to the Practice Squad to replace him (ala Codrington to Hardman).

However, in the unlikely event that everyone stays healthy, someone claims who we cut to make room for Davis, or whomever we cut wants to go to another team's Practice Squad - we'll have an open veteran Practice Squad spot that we'll likely want to use on a WR. As we'll have brought up Davis and Hardman and will be down to just Wilkerson on the PS.

At that point, anyone we'd bring in would be something that would be scoffed at as everyone is reacting to OBJ. Allen Robinson or Nelson Agholar? Bring back someone like Deone Harty, Isaiah McKenzie, or Stephen Gosnell?

I could see a scenario where OBJ's Super Bowl experience and experience in general was looked at as the best option in a break glass in case of emergency Practice Squad situation.

Is it likely? No. A number of things would have to happen. But as a Practice Squad guy, I wouldn't be opposed if things fell a certain way. If it's something like the options above or OBJ - I'd give him a shot.

With Mecole Hardman moving to IR, Gabe Davis will likely move to the 53. Which will have us with 7 WR's on the 53 (one of which they may not want to go back to in Coleman) but only 1 on the Practice Squad (Gosnell), when we've carried 3 for most of the season, and we'll have an open (veteran) Practice Squad spot.

They will likely add another WR to the Practice Squad when Gabe is signed to the 53. Could just make way for Kendall Wilkerson to return. But it could also be the kind of pathway I talked about for OBJ or another veteran WR.

Gosnell is still on the PS.  It was Wilkerson that was moved off last week.

I tend to agree with you. I knew we'd be bringing a veteran on with Hoecht and Jackson lost for the year. I was kind of hoping they'd look at him, but opted for Morgan Fox instead.

Also true. Although Coleman may be someone they don't want to go back to though, depending on what's going on behind closed doors.

I can’t think of one other player who’s gotten so much run over one play

other than Eli manning who’s gonna go to the hall of fame for two throws

To be fair his first 3 years he averaged 90+ catches, 1300+ yards and 10+ TDS
