FYI, Allen has 8 more TDs right now than he did in his MVP winning season last year at the same time.

Just happy that Mike Evans and Chris Godwin were not playing and out injured or things might have been different. BTW, who the heck is Sean Tucker? Buffalo had better fix their run defense because it looks like my peepaw could rush for 100 yards against them.🤯

apparently Sean Tucker is a HOF RB.

Palmer was also wide open.  Allen had two good options.

It's clearer from the other view (Endzone), but watch how Josh flinches to fake a WR screen to Shakir. That froze the DL, and got Cook free. The Bills also passed some from Josh under center. Josh is not the best at playaction fake handoffs, but this was such a tendency breaker that it worked anyway. This is a first down after the Bucs scored to take the 26-21 lead.

Palmer has looked pretty impressive whenever I’ve seen him josh just wasn’t lookin his way a while lot early in the year.  The two games we’ve looked awful he’s missed significant time in or missed the game entirely

What was that last timeout for? McDermott worried about the fake kneel, 12 pt TD?

Buddy there is no WAY he was ending this game without a defensive timeout. It's like a drug

Kyle Brandt with the most sobering, accurate breakdown of the current state of Buffalo that truly makes you loathe Brandon Beane.

He doesn’t say we can’t win it, we can.. because we have 17.

But it looks like, again, 17 has to be elite 4 games in a row to win a Super Bowl.

If he’s elite in a couple and good in one, we lose the game he’s only good in and it’s rinse/repeat.

It really all starts with the oline…people try to turn football into ‘only the qb matters’ and it’s a pet peeve on mine lol look at mahomes in games where his oline gets pushed around and games it doesn’t.   if your oline is playing well, your good qb looking elite isn’t some big ask.

the only team in the afc playoff picture right now that I think just a good game from Josh might not beat is Baltimore and ironically we are 2-0 against them in the playoffs with Josh being good not elite imo 😂

Part time. Swapped with White.

Which is  just getting more ridiculous by the moment.  The rookie needs to play.

in no particular order should be the primary WR's going forward.  Clearly

Curtis Samual had his moments too.

Yea but what QB who wins the Super Bowl ISNT boderline elite throughout the playoffs?

Hurts last year:

4 games: 10 TDs, 2 TOs

Mahomes the year before:

6 TDs 1 TO

The year before that:

7 TDs 1 TO (3 games)

Being elite doesn't mean putting up Allen's stat line from yesterday.  Allen had 2 BAD turnovers that will not work against the great teams.  Hurts and Mahomes were elite in their SB campaigns because they protected the ball AND help drive offense.

The defense isn't super bowl calibre yet, but it wasn't that way at this time of the year last year either.  Last year we had Rams and Lion back to back that showed our defense was an issue.  The team needs to grow, which is why Beane invested so much into the defense when fans were complaining that the offense needed more talent.  Now people are mad that the investment hasn't paid off, but the goal is for it to improve over the next 7 weeks as we get into the postseason.

This is a really good point…even the Eli manning/joe Flacco type guys almost always go on insane playoff runs the year they win it.

Saying a qb needs to be elite to win a Super Bowl is a pretty ‘water is wet’ type statement these days haha the examples of like ‘broncos defense dragging Peyton’s corpse to a superbowl’ are pretty few and far between.  Even that broncos example took some luck…gostkowski missed a big extra point in that afc championship

Thank goodness for Bishop and Poyer. They made a ton of tackles to prevent more runs to the house. Bernard basically played well also. As stated earlier Milano is not the player he once was. Poyer also would have made the tackle on the long touchdown run had he not been blocked in the back, and no flag. I almost think our poor play against the run falls on the shoulders of our DC more than a lack of talent on the line.

I agree. Poyer is our best tackler from the secondary.  How bad our LB is playing, we need hard hitting Poyer on the field.

You could write ad copy for an agency.  That phrasing put me in mind of tough actin' Tenactin!  🤔😁

You know what makes me smile?

That all the naysayers who keep making threads about changing the GM-HC-OC- and DC are suddenly reticent!

That and the fact that the Bills won and our elite alien unicorn QB scored six touchdowns 😊 and all the talk shows are gushing about it.

Bernard is a train wreck. Milano is plain washed. Taron also hasn’t been good.

i am at the point where I would like to see Shaq, Dorian, and Cam Lewis as the starting LB/nickel base.

I am pretty sure I saw Taron take out both Milano and a few others with a pick as he was sucked into some right to left pre-snap motion.

He was mirroring left, took out Milano, and then that level was all tangled up as they tried to reverse course when the Bucs ran a sweep down the right side with no one there.

Outside of the KC game (not sure who played or rotation then) that 2nd level has been a mess this year with guys being on the same page and I am not sure why.

It is like watching keystone cops out there right now.

I have to think that some Bills players are not playing up to the performance we are used to watching and that perhaps like Taylor Rapp they are somewhat injured and want to be out there despite the injury. In some cases perhaps they are slowing down from what they used to be like #21 Jordan Poyer. I'm just glad they are out there doing their best like Poyer, 15 tackles!

agreed. I know what play you are talking about too. I think it was the long tucker TD catch (not to be confused with the long Tucker TD run!).

Bernard strikes me as very slow from a reaction point.

Milano strikes me knowing where to go, but not being able to physically get there.

taron seems to just be out of sorts— maybe playing too undisciplined to make up for physical shortcomings?

I think the pass he air mailed over gilliam's head was just that

It's routine layup that Josh probably makes 98 or 99 times out of 100... Curry misses foul shots occasionally

I never really watched the replay but I think it was all arm I don't think his feet mechanically were in the best spot for the throw... And that can make it sail

Trying to adjust for steady 30 mph winds with gusts might have had something to do with a couple of those throws as well. It affects the touch passes more than the rifle shots.
