starrymessenger Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Amazing what throwing the ball downfield a little can accomplish. Who would have thought. 1 5 2 Quote

I wonder how much of that is because the Tampa RBs were constantly into the secondary on their runs. 1 Quote
Comebackkid Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Buffalo’s offensive line just had a spirited argument that bordered on turning physical on the bench after a three-and-out possession to start the second half. Unsure what the beef was, but right tackle Spencer Brown had to step in between left tackle Dion Dawkins, who was standing over seated left guard David Edwards. Dawkins kept shoving Brown away, while Edwards tried to push Dawkins back off of him. Edwards eventually removed himself from the area to stand on the sideline by himself. Allen has always owned up to his mistakes and usually takes the blame for some other player’s mistakes. He’s done that since day one. 1 4 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago The kick return game was randomly excellent today. Must have seen something on film they could get at. That was a big help 4 4 Quote

Shavers can be a legit weapon in this Offense. He and Davis rotating in and out is clearly better for Josh... GO BILLS!!! 100% agree. Quote

The one to Shakir was a bad decision. for one we hadnt been able to run to that side all day. it was 3rd down.. and its a play that rarely works for us on a good day. we lucked out with the penalty. 1 Quote

I expect him to be signed to the 53, but another team can’t just “claim him”. He would need to sign with another team, and I can’t see that happening this year. 1 Quote

Welcome back, Gabe. Nice game Shavers. Josh puts the cape on again. The thing about Josh is he likes putting the cape on. That's the competitor in him I think. Like the lateral play he tried, if our RB would have slowed up a bit for him that would have worked. wearing the cape is our boys drug 2 1 1 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago We almost went too far in the other direction and got too aggressive on offense. This team isn’t trying to get involved in an intermediate passing game. it’s just 0 air yards or a downfield aerial assault lol Quote

Some of those plays he made were jaw-dropping. He really is incredible overall, and we're lucky to have him. I won't try to convince some folks that Allen had a bad first half as for some reason they cannot come to terms with any bad play from 17, but he really came on towards the end of it and then took over in the 2nd half. When Allen gets hot he is a load for teams to handle, there is no contradiction. If the offense had a faster start they may have been able to bury TB and gotten them out of their run-heavy looks earlier. It was a game of polar swings for Allen and the offense - I will continue to call them the way I see them. There have been too many slow starts and with our suspect defense it could very well lead to problems if teams do not turn over the ball, get the lead, and play a run-heavy safe offense like Miami did to us a week ago which led to that "L" and all the soul-searching. My hope is that some of that slow start today was just shifting from so much 13 personnel into more 11 and 12 personnel and shotgun with WRs on our roster that have not had a lot of game reps with Allen this year with Kincaid and Colemen on the field for so many of the snaps. Perhaps it just took some time to get in sync with the new personnel emphasis and pieces. Greatful for the win, Go Bills! 1 1 1 Quote

He had a few bad plays, yes but every QB in the league had a few bad plays. The dude scored 3 TDS in the first half. Calling that awful is ######ed. 3 Quote
