I think Pegula cares a lot more about the Bills than the Sabres, but unfortunately there are very few moves he can make this year.

We really, really should have overpaid with draft picks for some guys at the deadline, and probably even before the deadline. Unless things turn around this year and we somehow find a way to make all the pieces fit, I'm afraid next year will be genuinely bleak.

If we miss the playoffs this year, the wheels come off entirely.

And you know the Pats will win the SB this year. They have that look about them. And they have 60 million in cap space to make the team even better. Beane has botched this roster by overpaying for marginal guys he drafted, and we're in a hole for the remainder of Josh Allen's career.

The dead weight on the defense needs to be removed permanently. Stop with the rotations. This isn’t the ***** NHL. Bernard needs to be off the field, he sucks. 42, 45 58 are the LBs. Tarron Johnson is washed. Let Cam play the nickel but stop playing it every goddamn down. That’s why we can never stop

the run. 47 and 31 on the outside. There is no platoon. Literally no other team does this dumb *****. Play the good players and remove the garbage. Leave 24 and 37 back there. We need guys that can run. It’s way too much subbing. And way to much playing guys that are killing us

Pretty sure bills were 7-6 in 2021 and  went on a roll

The bills are 6-3 rn

Well then it's a good thing absolutely nothing has changed with the Bills or other teams since 2021. We lose the next 3 and we got em where we want em.

Team is toast. My definition of toast isn’t the traditional one. I think they’ll make the playoffs as a WC but that’s it. They don’t have the guys or the confidence. That’s on coaching and personnel. And yes….the players need to execute better.

We are 1 game out of the one seed

We don't look great but let's not panic

Huh? We just dropped further behind the Pats in our own division.

I head that.  Luke you are full of *****.  Josh put his heart and soul in that game.  He took huge shots extending plays.  Even Josh can get frustrated.  WRs can’t get open. WRs are not where they are supposed to- Keon deep ball should of gotten to spot and turn head inside, 3rd down pass to Shakir, Josh led him, interception in end zone was on Knox- frustrating!

Josh said on the interception he was trying to throw the ball to shavers but they brought pressure, were in cover zero and he couldn't step into it.

To the naked eye, Cam actually looked pretty good today.

The Patriots will lose one.. we will win one

And I'm pretty sure we'll beat them in foxboro

Again these bills teams rise to good teams and has been playing down to bad teams for a while

You could put the blame on Bean or Allen or McDermott whoever you want but that's what they do do

They look like a Super bowl team against the Chiefs last week

Patriots look like they can win out. For real. They are so tremendously solid from coaching to players/execution. I don't see them losing more than 1 more game. And the Bills have at least 3 more losses in them (being generous).

On Saturday, my dog had diarrhea in four spots in the house. The robot vacuum cleaner picked it up and spread diarrhea all over the house. I spent all day Saturday decontaminating the house, mopping, pulling out sprayed diarrhea from the walls and molding. On Sunday morning I had to take apart the robot vacuum Piece by piece to remove all the diarrhea.

That sums up this game.

Just a crushing loss

Josh definitely looks like he's struggling with the lack of tools at his disposal. Allen has always had a tendency of becoming more reckless and desperate when he senses the team struggling. You saw that clearly with his fumble; usually he wouldn't bother trying to get more yards but he sees the offense struggling and becomes less mature Allen and more crazed Allen. His interception felt like a full miscommunication, he's thinking Knox is going to stop and Knox keeps running thus making the pass go to the trailing defender.

Essentially I wouldn't say this was a bad Josh game, I'd place under the category of desperate Josh making mistakes. There's a difference

Defense couldn't stop the run, Cook had a tough time going anywhere and made a bad turnover of his own.

When Kinkaid went down I knew the game was screwed because rarely do we have anyone step up to help Josh.

Keon, I wanted you to be so good, but you've been both a waste of time and targets.

As much as a doomer I can be I really, really hope that isn't how this shakes out. That's the kind of thing that wrecks a franchise. Not sure we'd recover from screwing up so badly, allowing the Pats to go all the way, even if they lose, and then we bounce back and remain true contenders. We really need to find some way to be in the mix for the division in the final weeks or I think we're possibly looking at a truly bleak situation going forward.

its a real bummer we do not have the players who are supposed to be playing.  I have never seen a team get injuries like this.  The defense has been decimated.

This team wins and loses together. Really need all three phases to click in order to play winning football.

Agreed. And this is another tick in the column of bad roster building to have to have 3-phase complete complimentary football just to be in a game.
