Harrison Phillips makes sense due to all the injuries and question marks on the interior of the line.

right sorry, I didn't make my point very well. In fact it was done badly. 

 

Buffalo already had enough cap space to get any of the WRs being talked about. But adding 1.5M for a total of 3M doesn't get you anything more than the Bills already had space for, unless it's someone completely out of left field

All these season ending injuries cost against cap too - moving guys to active 53 and signing new players to the P/S.  

 

Im not a cap expert, but I would expect some of the $1.75m is being earmarked for basic roster mgt due to injuries.

 

If we trade for a WR, who do we think is released - Moore or Shavers?  Or maybe just Codrington.

Yea I think they probably like to have some cap left just in case and it’s probably someone coming in owed 1.5 million ish…unless there’s another restructure coming that’s not announced yet..  or it’s two players not owed much this year

As long as Shaheed occupies a corner and a safety, it doesn't matter if he's 4th in targets.  Kincaid, Shakir, Palmer, and Cook runs will all become even more efficient.

With this new cap space, I’m sure Justin Jefferson has come up already. Coleman and a 4th, then he restructures just a wee bit to get us under the cap.
