He is bad, I confess that I had high hopes initially, but that has passed like a fart in the wind 💨

Sounds like my family talking about me.

This has to be another business trip game. and the team attitude needs to be like at Carolina.  We know we’re better. Our Oline should dominate Miami in the trenches. Need to prove it.

Well, the good news is that the crowd should be at least 50-50, and perhaps even more so, given the crappy Fish and the Bills huge win.  Miami fans have already given up.  It will feel like another home-away-from-home game for the Bills.

eball, I never thought I'd live that long ...

I was at the game where the Bills broke the 20 game losing streak vs the fins.  Fans tore down the goal posts and passed one of the uprights up the stands to Ralph's suite.

I never thought we would even the series.

GO BILLS AND SQUISH THE FISH!!!

Wasn't that long ago that McDaniel was a genius and Tua was the next elite QB in the NFL. The Dolphins were the next powerhouse team. Just a couple short years later and McDaniel is on his way out and Tua could be benched for Zach Wilson or something called a Quinn Ewers at any time.

Derrick Burroughs came to my mind as well. Football can be cruel, but if this helped doctors discover a spine issue like Burroughs and knowing how threatening that was for his longterm healthy at the time, then this may have been a blessing in disguise for Strong. Feeling bad for the kid big time.

And remember the Bills have had some pretty scary on-field injuries in the past, Hamlin, Kevin Everett.  Better to be cautious.

Usually, it's entertaining to read the pregame thread on FinHaeven, but this week, it's just downright depressing. Pretty much all Fish fans want them to lose to hasten Mike McDaniel's exit:

But this was hilarious:

common theme: "the Bills will have a let down after the Chiefs game."

Normally I would say "maybe"

Yes, we are coming off of a big win, against KC, and are 6-2...but we are in second place by a half game and lose the tie breaker.

No let downs here.

If the Falcons can upset the Colts on Sunday morning and the Bills and Bucs win their respective games later that day, then the Bills will be in great shape seeding wise.

Gregg, buddy, I am not laughing at you.

I am laughing because I want through that exact same possibility this morning before coffee!

Go Bills!

I do think the Bills and Bucs will win their games but the Falcons upsetting the Colts might be wishful thinking for Bills fans. Strange things happen with those overseas games with the time change. A Falcons upset win would be nice, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Yeah.

Gregg, we have room for one more all season, and it can't be the Pats.

14-3 should be enough to take the Conference.  Colts will get dinged twice and the Pats HAVE to get dinged twice.

How sinfully hilarious it would be if in the year we beat the Ravens and the Chiefs we end up not only without HFA, but without a division title.

Chiefs still have Broncos (2), Chargers and Colts

Colts: Chiefs, jags (2), Hawks and Niners

Patriots: Bucs, Bills, Ravens (that is IT for them)

Ravens (who cares, even if they win the division, but still) Pats, Steelers (2), Packers

Bills: Bucs, Eagles, Pats, Steelers...need 3 out of 4,with one of them being the Pats

Watch out for the Ravens. They are getting healthy, so I expect them to go on a run. If they can beat the Steelers, then the division is still in play for them. Even though the Bills beat them in week 1 I still hope the Bills can avoid them in the playoffs if possible. They don't have a lot of depth but when healthy they have a really strong roster.

The Bucs are coming off their bye week, they should be very prepared and feeling good... if NE goes down there and wins that game I'll give them much respect.  Bucs D is solid and their O is looking to get back on track from their last game.

I hear you, but I still don't care that much.  They MAY even win the division, but if they go 6-2 (reasonable) they are still 10-7.  That's tough, even as a division champion.

They are not road warriors, either.

EDIT: I wouldn't love it, but I am fine if we have to go there at 11-6 or 12-5...still hoping for 14-3, though.

There is a very real possibility that the Eagles will have nothing to play for by week 17. They have all but won their division already and only the Rams threaten them for the #1 seed now that the Lions dropped a stupid one to Minnesota. But I would add @Texans to the list of tough games for the Bills. Their defense is for real.

I don't know what their prospects are for returning to good health but their offense has been decimated by injuries.

As they should. Miami needs to draft a big strong QB in the mold of Josh Allen or Drake Maye if they want to compete in the East. The best way to do that is to bottom out. They have been stuck in the dreaded “mediocre” loop like the Bills were for so many years. Not good enough for the playoffs or bad enough for a top pick. Tua’s best bet is to find a totally new situation like Darnold and Mac Jones. I still think he can be successful on a stacked team.

Boy though, LP, if they are even 13-2 headed in to that game, if the Rams or someone else is 12-3 it is enough for it to matter to them.

2 more losses before then to the Hawks, Rams, Bucs and maybe the Packers would go a long way.
