Clark really the only games he’s missed were contract related. The chiefs never get injured. All other teams get injured right before playing them. Commanders lost their best pass rusher last week and their QB 2 weeks ago. We lost our best DL this week. The chiefs - nothing. Do they have a single key piece missing anywhere on defense or offense? They lost their best WR and second best WR for the basically the entire year last year. For context, that would be like the Bills losing Shakir and Palmer for like 80% of the season. 1 Quote
TBBills Fan Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Was it wrong of me to put $100 on the Chiefs -11.5 at +100? Yes. I should have bumped that ***** up to like - 15 or -16 1 Quote

They also lost i think 2 starting O lineman heading into the SB againt the bucs and mahomes got destroyed that entire game. But overall theres so much luck involved getting to a SB and the chiefs for the most part have had pretty great luck with health in the post seasons and the bills have had impressively bad health going into the post season. I don’t know why some of our fans don’t see that injuries hit every team. We need to stop acting like only Buffalo gets them. Quote
QCity Posted October 28 Posted October 28 How was he walking around after this? Rubber band ligaments? Quote

Chandler#81 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 I thank the schedule makers. This game should be a prime timer -as they’ve always been. But this year they travel to our place on 1 day less to practice for a 4:30 pm game -though the nation will see it. Quote

Good news - 70% chance of rain and pretty cold. Might slow them down a bit. If Bills control the clock, I think they have a chance Quote

Agreed it also shows that we either don't have credible backups or the staff doesn't know how to involve them in the scheme. 1 Quote

If Daniels played the Commanders probably have the lead at halftime and then who knows how the second half plays out. The Chiefs are good, and this will be a tough game but if the Bills win, I won't be surprised at all especially since it's in OP. 1 Quote
Casey D Posted October 28 Posted October 28 It is interesting how much of KC's offense comes off schedule. Mahomes drops back, called play does not work, he runs around a while, then throws to a guy who is open by 10 yards or just runs. For all the sophistication that is Reid, much of the time it is sandlot ball. Quote

A lot of people don't even know he had an entire career with the Bears. Retired for a year...came back and played another 15 NFL seasons split between Houston and the Raiders. Just a complete icon of old time football The very definition of "Wily Veteran" I saw old George play in the Rockpile. My father knew someone at the ticket turnstiles and we snuck into a lot of games. 1 Quote
Gregg Posted October 28 Posted October 28 I would like to know how Kelce gets open all the time. I have seen turtles run faster than him. The opposing defenses know Mahomes will look for him and yet despite that he still manages to get open and make plays. Quote

He doesn't have designed routes, he's asked to find opening in the zones which he does and Mahomes is quick to find him. 3 1 Quote

Guys take a hit like that and in the moment with the adrenaline they shake it off. Come the next morning, the swelling hits and you find out that something snapped. I wouldn't be shocked if he misses practice time this week. Quote
