A rebuild can/should take 2-3 years. The Bills took an inordinately long time. And are still fumbling around with key elements .

Patriots Drafts have been meh, but they hit on elite QB (it seems) and elite CB. 
 

Christian Gonzalez is better than any defensive player we have.   It’s the Chiefs thing where there’s misses but they hit on some elite guys at key positions.

 

Theyve also hit on Free Agency at key positions whereas we’re messing around with Curtis Samuel and underwhelming play from some recent extensions. 
 

And the Pats are clearly gearing up for a big move or two right now.

Evaluations of the Patriots recent drafts are a bit inconclusive because in 2023, their de facto GM was Bill Belichick. Last year they promoted Elliott Wolf to GM but their HC was Jerod Mayo. This year Wolf remains as GM but HC Mike Vrabel is the one running the football operations.

They will make moves with beating  the Bills on Dec.4 at the forefront. You know they will get at least 1 WR we have been clamoring for and a big time pass rusher to neutralize Allen.

Ya... Spotrac is saying it's basically 20M this year and 40 next... I just asked both the AI's and got the 68M number... I was VERY specific... But I'll go with what the experts are saying. It's way more doable if 20M of that hits this year...

Bills never got the key pieces of a rebuild in place, except for josh of course.
