A couple years ago we got passes to go down on the field after the Dolphins game and I couldn't believe how many smelling salt packets were all over the field.  I Assumed it was from staff coming out during breaks in play - didnt realize you could do it during play.

also under center Josh even does the hand signal for which way to run often. 
 

it’s been fine in the run game but I sure would like the defense even a little worried about it in passing plays. We just need every bit we can on that side

I think he's talking about the actual use on the field of play

 

Smelling salt have been used for a hundred years lol but typically they were used on the sidelines James Cook is doing it on the field which is why Simon is bringing up the gray area

oh it was, apparently mistakenly, reported they were fully banned. I’ve seen plenty of social posts about suspending cook etc…. Because announcers and writers did not well clarify the change in rule. 
 

I would bet many if not most here think it’s a full ban

I believe it was banned for smelling salts to be issued by the team 

 

If a player brings their own supply it's legal

Here's another tell, they run the ball under center like 80% of the time, and pass out of the gun 80%.

Yep. They need to make this less obvious. 

 

It'd also be nice to get Cook a little more involved in the passing game or just keep him in on passing downs, if only to make it less obvious it's going to be a run play.

We have many tells. It doesn’t matter when things are do it right. They could announce that Cook is about to run on the stadium speakers, and he will still beat you. 
 

200+ yards we’ve n when the Defense knew it was coming.

I always get endzone seats now and Allen will point behind his back which way to run.  So I get a little cheat code to know where the play is going.
