SoonerBillsFan Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Was it Terry or Kim? Just something I'm stewing on.
Avisan Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Guys... regardless of whether or not you think McDermott can get us over the Superbowl hump, he's a darn good coach that helped bring our franchise back into relevancy. If you're someone who thinks it was all Allen, we know what Allen looks like when he's not in the right headspace. It isn't pretty. Allen could easily have flamed out despite his physical gifts. We've seen that story play out over and over again in this league. 3 1 3 1 2
Eden Tom Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Obviously no proof of this but it seemed at the time that Kim was getting much more active in the Bills so I “think” she had a lot more input than when they hired Rex Ryan. 1
Sweats Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago All i know is that McD must have pictures of someone fairly high up in the organization ****ing a goat cause i have no other explanation of how he even still has a job. 1 3 3 2 2 1
BearNorth Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago If you look at the newpaper articles, Kim and Terry surround McD in the hiring photo and Whaley is to the left of Kim, so I expect she had a lot of input. 1

I say no. That is why I am wondering who did the hiring. The Bills were Kim's, and I dont see her as standing pat esp. After 13 seconds. 1

If they weren't fired by now, she probably would have put them on notice that their jobs are on the line. I go back to the year they broke the streak and the video they made about it. The game in Miami they showed the owner's box, and you see Terry and Brandon just sitting there watching the game, but Kim is in the background pacing back and forth. She even admitted she was nervous and takes the wins and losses more seriously than Terry. I doubt she would be happy having Allen all this time and have no Super Bowl appearances or championships to show for it. With Terry running the show alone it feels like they have 100% job security no matter how the season plays out. Edited 1 hour ago by Gregg 1 1

SoCal Deek Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I’ve looked back through my texts and emails from back then and I can honestly report that I had nothing to do with it. 3 1

I don't know that anyone is arguing against that. The argument is that he has topped out with this team (maybe as far back as 13 seconds, maybe last year). Either way confidence is low that he is suddenly going to take the last steps. The scaredy cat soft zone and insistence on game manager ball control offence - even I would agree it guarantees us 7/10 performance for years on end - but is there a ceiling? THE ceiling? Plenty of us think not. It's a perfectly respectable position to take based on what we have seen. 1 1

Even the guys who actually played in the game are over it. Even if we won, we probably lose to the Bengals the following week.

No. Not till McD wins a Super Bowl or is no longer the HC of the Bills. 1

He still has a job because most Bills Fans (and probably the Pegulas) think that Beane is the only one responsible for the Bills idiotic drafts. McDermott gave Mahomes to KC. Beane wasn't here. McDermott wanted a cornerback more than he wanted Mahomes, this on a team with three qbs that sucked. To this very day McDermott focuses on DTs and corners on a team with Josh Freaking Allen. McDermott was handed the keys to the car when he walked in the door. In essence, he hired Beane. How many people on this board hired your boss? How many did not? I predict that Beane will be fired before McDermott, and McDermott will still have the upper hand until Mr. Pegula awakens from his McDermott loving trance. 1 1

ProcessTruster Posted 58 minutes ago Posted 58 minutes ago What, are we now firing the owner bc he/she hired the wrong coach?

A lot of that is just age related incontinence! 😠 Just now, ProcessTruster said: What, are we now firing the owner bc he/she hired the wrong coach? Jets fans overwhelmingly wish they could. 1
