CincyBillsFan Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago It was close but also it was obvious that he didn't make the 1st down. The camera angle was perfect and if you extend a plane down from the ball it would not have touched the 41 yard line which was the line to gain. Had the not reversed what was an obvious bad spot by the refs things would have gotten very interesting in the Motor City. Quote

What is the rule about if you challenge X and they see a clear cut Y? I thought, but could be wrong, that they only looked at what was challenged and if they see something else they are to ignore it? My best guess is that NY corrected the spot of the ball and the refs basically said as a result, there's nothing for Detroit to challenge. They basically just wasted all our time for nothing. Quote

zow2 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago While Detroit doesn’t have all their D talent on the field, they make up for it with tremendous effort. They are hustling to the ball like crazy Quote
EmotionallyUnstable Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) Okay here is your challenge rule explained; Rule 15, Section 2, article 2 “Once a review is initiated, all reviewable aspects of a play (Section 3) may be examined and are subject to change, even if not the specific reason for the challenge.” And why they announced it twice: Article 4. Each Ruling Reviewed Separately Any aspect of a ruling that is not changed will be considered a correct ruling for purposes of reviewing the play. https://operations.nfl.com/the-rules/nfl-rulebook/#article-2-plays-involving-possession Edited 8 hours ago by EmotionallyUnstable 1 Quote
Doc Brown Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Declining a penalty that would make it 2nd and 20 instead of 3rd and 10? Quote

Einstein Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago an incomplete is better than these 3 yard passes the one time he doesn’t overthrow, he under throws and it gets knocked away lol Quote
Doc Brown Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Baker needs to stop snorting coke before the game. Overthrowing everything. Quote

It's mostly just boiled down to him being very inaccurate tonight. Edited 8 hours ago by DCOrange 1 Quote
Brand J Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Hard to believe these Lions got so out classed by the Chiefs. Definitely a week to week league. Quote
