Groot is a solid player when healthy.  But hes had injury issues, which changes how we use him.  Foot, Knee, etc.

McDermott and Beane failed everyone.

 

McDermott is a mental midget. Should have been fired 2 years ago.

 

Beane is negligent on building our defense. And probably not clever to get another true WR1 for us.

I really don’t trust Beane to be honest. I just can’t reconcile the guy he presents himself to the media as, and somebody who would call PFF and complain about how they graded players to the point that the PFF main rater says he’s the most sensitive GM in the league. Then you throw in the radio interview where he mocks needing a #1 WR. The you looks at how he has local Buffalo media essentially in a zero access state if it’s not team approved positive content. 
 

Beane tries to portray the BBB image. The reality is he’s sensitive, not as confident as he comes across, and I sincerely believe reports that he is not a very good scout. As it aligns with his track record drafting. 
 

We want him to draft a WR worth a crap, just jeep in mind, Kelvin Benjamin is probably the best WR he has ever drafted. This is not a guy with any track record at WR. His hits in Kincaid and Torrence at TE and G are not positions teams use #1’s on. So you better hit if you do. Glad we did, but the wins have been pretty minimal. The the extensions have been downright criminal.

This is Sean McDermotts defence. Any single person including draft picks and free agents brought on in the defensive side is on him. Their defence absolutely sucks now and is bottom 5 in the NFL so I am curious what to know he's actually maximized? Maybe how many claps per game?

 

A defensive guru needs a first ballot hall of famer to succeed? Let's also get McDermott Micah parsons, Fred Warner and Stingley. Because it's so unrealistic asking our defensive head coach to have a good defence when almost every draft pick this year was on the defensive side, not too mention all the other wasted assets he/Beane brought in on the defensive side.

Though i'm not happy with how the team is playing, i am actually happy that the fanbase seems to be opening their eyes to what they can expect from this FO regime going forward.........and by going forward, i mean just look at the lack of progression from this FO over the past 9 years and the fans suddenly seem to think the philosophy is going to change overnight?

At this point, it's clear that Brandon Beane (and this whole franchise by default) got lucky by drafting Josh Allen.  Sure, they get credit for believing in him, trading up and taking him over Josh Rosen.  But truthfully, we didn't take Allen until Pick #7 and he was the third QB chosen.  If the Bills staff truly knew what he was going become, they would have sold everything to move up to the #1 Pick.  In truth, it was an educated dart throw, and they got lucky.

 

Since picking Allen, our GM has selected over 60 players in the draft.  He's had 8 years of college scouting to find young players.  He's had 8 years to find veterans in free agency and by trade.  Plain and simple, what he's assembled outside of quarterback is a bottom 5-10 roster.  Good starting running back with breakaway speed.  Solid O-Line that benefits from a QB that can buy extra time.  Possibly the worst WR corps in the NFL.  A D-Line that can't stop the run or get pressure.  Undersized LBs who can't tackle or cover, and are always hurt.  And a secondary that can't stay with anyone for longer than 2 seconds.
