Royale with Cheese Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) EDITED FOR CORRECT RECORD. Could we potentially knock them out of the playoffs? They are 2-3 right now. They play the Lions next. I don't see them winning that game. Then the next games are Raiders, Commanders and Bills. Very realistically they could come into Buffalo at 3-5. Putting them at 3-6 with the Broncos twice in which I don't see a sweep, Colts, Chargers and Cowboys left. We could put them in too big of a hole. Edited 2 hours ago by Royale with Cheese 1 Quote
Gregg Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) 2-3 right now but them losing last night softened the blow of the Bills loss. I am not too concerned about the Colts and Jags at 4-1. Last night was an embarrassing look for the Jags. They are 3-1 going into the game and playing at home in primetime and it looked like a sea of red in the stands. Pathetic fanbase. JP51 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) I am not contemplating about putting the Chiefs out of the playoffs... Certainly they play tough teams, as we have learned everybody's tough... I think my focus is going on the road and beating Atlanta... we have enough of our own issues to worry about... JMO Edited 3 hours ago by JP51 2 Quote
Coach Tuesday Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The Chiefs are 2-3. The Lions will be down two starting corners and their LT next week - they are vulnerable at least. Other than that, the Bills and Commanders are their only difficult non-divisional games that I see. Quote
Bills!Win! Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Chiefs will get in at 8-9 and win the Super Bowl. Just our luck 1 1 7 Quote
James Can Cook Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago As long as they have Reid and Mahomes they could win 10 straight at any point regardless of schedule. I’ll celebrate their demise when the season is over. 1 4 Quote

skibum Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The Chiefs can beat the best teams and be beaten by the worst teams. But in the end, they usually do more of the beating. Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The Chiefs were nowhere near as good as their record said last year (10-0 in 1 score games) and nowhere near as bad as their record says now (0-3 in 1 score games). They are in trouble though because they could be a 7 loss team. That may not get them into the playoffs. 4 2 Quote
Cray51 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I hate the Chiefs. I hate them even more watching them score their first touchdown last night with an illegal pick and watching FOUR players (Juju, Mahomes, Kelce, Gray?) sprinting up to the refs holding their finger in the year screaming "1 yard! 1 yard". Whining like they are supposed to have influence in the ref's discussion. Drove me up a wall. I hope they lose every game they play - but I'm expecting them to go 11-6 this year. They will find ways to win games 1 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago This is a fun year, with some upstart teams making runs in the AFC and the powerhouses struggling. That said, we all know the ravens and chiefs will figure out a way to barely sneak into the playoffs, get healthy, and then be impossible to knock off. Quote
The Jokeman Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Just focus on the Bills winning, whatever happens outside of that we have no control over. 4 Quote

They are 1-4 and play the Rams this week. If this was baseball, then I would agree with you as with 162 games you can go into a lengthy slump and still save your season. But with just 17 games you can't do that. If they fall to 1-5 then it starts to become a long shot especially if the Steelers keep winning. I don't see a WC coming from the AFCN. 1 Quote

I get it... but to me in the end someone has to beat them in the playoffs... and if we want the SB it will more than likely need to be us... we control our own destiny... are we good enough, we will see... I will say this... and not like I am being picky about how we get there... cause I am not... just win one... but... any trip to the SB that involves not beating the Chiefs to get there... will be awesome... but there will still be the asterisk... and as silly as it sounds.... I would like to shut em all up ... just once 6 minutes ago, ChronicAndKnuckles said: Well, thankfully the players play the game so we as fans can speculate and look at future matchups. Indeed... and I am guilty of looking forward and doing all that math that never really works out... so I compartmentalize... Just beat Atlanta and hope for the best outcome everywhere else... it works for me... and I avoid the mid week headache... lol sometimes... Edited 2 hours ago by JP51 2 Quote
BVBILLS Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) That was a great loss and made the Bill's loss a little easier to take. What bothers me is the combined record of teams Buffalo has beaten is 3-16. Not sure how well the Bills match up with ATL and Bijon. Edited 2 hours ago by BVBILLS 2 Quote

BVBILLS Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago This is a setback, but the Chefs will be in it at the end regardless. Especially when they get Rice back. 1 Quote
