The Chiefs can afford a loss more than the Bills on Sunday, the Patriots have an easier schedule than the Bills, and the Chiefs with a loss, can still catch the Broncos. The Broncos, like the Colts have a fairly difficult schedule and will start to accumulate some losses. Edited October 28 by Billsfed1 Quote

Bills fan since 87 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 I think we might be looking at a #5 seed Bills at #4 seed Ravens when all is said and done 2 Quote
TheFunPolice Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Jaguars have a tough road coming up.. Colts twice Broncos Chargers A lot could hinge on those games. Chiefs sort of win either way there. If the Jags beat the Broncos and Chargers that's obviously good for then, but if the Jags lose those games then the Wild Card opens up. Quote
BillytheKid Posted October 28 Posted October 28 KC plays At Bills At Broncos Colts At Dallas next 4 games. So not easy for them. Would be nice to beat them and have them lose at least one other one if not two of them. Quote

MikePJ76 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 I have that sinking feeling that in the end we are going to go to Baltimore in the wild card round. Some terrible weather saturday night in Baltimore. They have to find a way to win this division. 1 Quote
Justin C Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Colts schedule is no picnic: at Pittsburgh vs Atlanta at Kansas City vs Houston at Jacksonville (where they always struggle) at Seattle vs San Francisco vs Jacksonville at Houston I think they’ve built a big enough cushion to make the Playoffs, but I could see the Texans or Jaguars sneaking into the division talk. 1 1 Quote

And what’s more frustrating is our record will be better than theirs… I said this a few weeks ago that it was still a worse case scenario that the Ravens make the playoffs and they’re our first opponent. I want them dead altogether! 1 Quote

They could definitely start dropping some games with that schedule. Bills still have a shot at the #1 seed if they can get their passing game back on track. We have H2H still vs the Pats and Steelers, so we control our own destiny there. Broncos current record is better than their actual play. Really we just need the Colts to start dropping some games. If Colts keep coming back to earth, I could see Jax or Houston still taking that division. gtw3 Posted 53 minutes ago Posted 53 minutes ago I think Pittsburgh is going to fall out. That division is Baltimore's. If that is the case, and the three wildcard teams remain us, the chargers and the jaguars, that is worst case scenario for the Chiefs as they have already lost to all 3 of the current wildcard teams. Granted, they get another shot at LA. Quote
Sweats Posted 51 minutes ago Posted 51 minutes ago I think Indy will come crashing down soon. I just believe they are playing over their heads and i don't think they can sustain much more going forward. Denver's O is a hot mess. They may have the best D in the league, but Nix won't be the savior they think this year. Steelers are showing their true colors.......they have the 2nd oldest roster and it's starting to show. Those ole boys are getting tired. NE is beyond what anyone expected this year. I think they will fade a bit in the stretch, but i still don't think we'll catch them for the division. I'm not sold on the Chargers, Texans, Jags.........i still believe the 3 best teams in the AFC are the Bills, Ravens and KC. These teams always seem to play a little harder when their backs are against the wall. 1 Quote

SoCal Deek Posted 45 minutes ago Posted 45 minutes ago This is the time of year that separates the NFL from the other major sports. In football every team has a unique set of opponents. You have to start looking at the remaining schedule for each of the other contenders. For example, the Broncos face the Chargers, the Jaguars, the Packers, and the Chiefs TWICE. If they get through that gauntlet, they deserve to be the 1 seed. Quote
