I believe, especially around playoff time. Bills defense will show out enough to not be looked at as "just average" to fans outside of buffalo.

You're not a SB favorite and damn near unblemished if your defense is just "average" do they break down every now and then yea. I haven't seen that AT ALL.  On the general forums, it is widely acknowledged that Bills defense is downright bad.

Hopefully but so far it's been very underwhelming. Our CB2 issue is major. Again Milano is injured and we have guys coming off suspension that will hopefully help with the pass rush. But as for right now this Bills defense has definitely been pretty crappy this season.

A relatively meaningless ranking at this point in the season.

 

Literally, you're the 1st person I've seen try to argue that our defense is solid. I've been checking the Pats boards, and even most posters on those forums know our D isn't good.

 

Clearly, last night was the 1st Bills game you've seen this year.

BB and Parcells use to say this a lot. Your team doesn't start looking like who they're gonna be until after week 4. I am not worried about the Bills. I believe they will be there at the end. Just gotta make sure you finally put KC away.

Tbh I acted this way after beating KC in the regular season a few years ago. But I've realized this whole regular season thing is fun but the playoffs are the test always have been and always will be. So now and day's I try not to overreact to regular season wins or losses. I know we will be in the playoffs and hopefully by some grace of anything we can pull it off and win the whole dam thing 😂

Was that guy smoking something? Last night SHOULD give the Pats team the confidence to believe they can beat anyone else left on their schedule. But by no means are they “reformed” the dynasty.. stop that!  Maye looks like a franchise QB and has for the last 4 weeks.. at the minimum at least when he throws the ball I’m not going to”why did he throw it there” like I have been post Brady years.

For a second year player, I would say he played great.  He came into a primetime game on the road when the fans were hyped, and did what he needed to for the win.  Yes, the evaded sack to Diggs on the last drive was an amazing play.  But, he also made quite a few top tier plays that I would consider elite.  I would also say he appears to be ahead of Josh from where he was in his career.  

 

So yes, there is plenty to get hyped about as a Pats fan, and worry about as competition for the Bills for years to come.  They have both a young coach and QB who seem to know what they are doing.  That's all you need sometimes to build something great.

You do know the Bills have owned the division for like 5 years right? This was a big win ina hostile environment where no one can go and say “well if the weather was better then” like the last time the Pats won in Buffalo. Also why shouldn’t they be excited for winning a game they were suppose to lose by I think 8.5 points?  It’s a huge upset!

I thought he was excellent. Yes. Does that mean he is the second coming? No. But he was excellent yesterday.
