Pats are back

Maye is the real deal.  Vrabel is a very good HC.  We finally have competition again in the division; we no longer will be locking it up by Thanksgiving.  Buckle up.

13 seconds will continue to haunt this team and the fanbase...now the division is no longer a gimme, let alone the 1 seed, each year. With Allen we always "have a shot", but we definitely missed a window to ever winning a Super Bowl.

Pats have an easier schedule the rest of the way than Buffalo.  They are setting themselves up for a nice year,, but they won't win all the games they are favored to win.

Yep, downside of the Bills having an easy schedule is... so do the Pats.

We turned the ball over three times. That is the reason we lost the game. Other than not being able to cover Stefon Diggs we did a pretty good job on defense. Maye made some insannnnne plays

Bills turnovers/penalties and Stefon Diggs vs Tre White is the reason we lost by 3.

Bills have to find an answer to CB2 or that issue doesn’t go away.   
 

Pats are good, but it took an absolutely atrocious game by the Bills to win by a FG. 
 

Problem is .. We don’t currently have a reliable fix for CB2 and their strengths on Defense (two stud corners and strong run defense) really matches up well to make the currently constructed Bills Offense commit penalties and turn the ball over due to pressing because of the poor WR room that ratchets up pressure on everyone else.

That was a sloppy game by two teams, the Bills made more mistakes and the Patriots capitalized on the mistakes. Now are the Patriots heading in the right direction the answer is yes, but there going to lose games you'd expect them to win just like the Bills do and pretty much every NFL team does.

This is excellent and true. Smart franchise goes after the big dog against weakness. Opposite: MIA is built entirely WRONG vs northern outdoor NY NE BUF.

We tried to tell you guys that the Patriots were playing pretty solid football and it wasn't gonna be a runaway, that even we couldn't believe how much better they looked compared to the past two years' 4-13 teams. And that was before seeing Diggs go off last night for the first time as a Pat, and the rookie kicker hitting a 52 yard kick with 20 yards to spare in the clutch. Rugged defense, new OL, Maye arriving, excellent coaching, very favorable schedule. They are indeed back.

Two years ago they were three games back with 4 to play.   It was only one year with no competition.

I'd agree with you but we heard the exact same thing a few years back with Mac Jones. There's still a long way to go anything can happen in the NFL especially. We could be sitting here this time next week saying I can't believe the Patriots lost to the saints.

They will have their up's and down's because they are young and the depth isn't great... BUT Maye playing the he is with Vrabel coaching solid means they are absolutely a playoff team and if the Bills are not careful they will be on the road all postseason. Some Bills fans wanted to put em down in the preseason but if you saw Maye last year you knew the kid is solid and with a little bit more help and better coaching can absolutely be a guy in this league.
