Special K Posted Tuesday at 11:23 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:23 PM Week 5, and it gets a little harder every week. I'm deciding between the Lions and the Colts......leaning Colts at home vs Vegas, but I fear Daniel Jones playing way above his head is possibly coming to an end. Rams over 49ers on Thursday night is also a possibility, but I think anything can happen on Thursday night games. Who ya got?? Quote
qwksilver Posted Wednesday at 12:48 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:48 AM Arizona or Lions. Saints have a winnable game this week so the otherside of that match up is out this week. Quote
BritBill Posted Wednesday at 09:02 AM Posted Wednesday at 09:02 AM Colts. Even if Jones reverts slightly back to type they'll have enough on the ground and defensively to beat a bad Raiders. Quote
NeverOutNick Posted Wednesday at 10:10 AM Posted Wednesday at 10:10 AM (edited) Lions but I almost was extremely ballsy and took giants. That d line will destroy rattler Edited Wednesday at 10:11 AM by NeverOutNick Quote

Albany,n.y. Posted Wednesday at 04:01 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:01 PM I have 2 picks: Arizona & Detroit. I have used each once before, so I was able to use Detroit on the one I had used Arizona, & Arizona on the one I had used Detroit. Quote

During the season, I never go against a rookie making his 1st start, since the vet he's replacing usually has been playing poorly. 2 examples are from the NYG. Jones & Dart each won their 1st start replacing Eli & Russ. I have used a rookie to lose on opening day, since the vet playing poorly & losing his job doesn't apply. In fact, I usually pick against a rookie QB in his 1st start if he is named the opening day starter. Two years ago I thought Richardson was going to bust in Indy and bet against them opening day. I got very lucky because Minshew came in and almost beat me. 1 Quote

bills_fan Posted Wednesday at 04:14 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:14 PM Deciding between Colts and Cardinals. Both good choices I think. Thoughts? I've used Broncos, Cowboys, Seattle and Texans. Quote
PetermansRedemption Posted Wednesday at 04:15 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:15 PM I’m rolling with the Giants over the Saints this week. I like living on the edge. Quote

But I'm going with Minnesota because this one feels a little different with the Vikings playing the 2nd of 2 across the Atlantic. I think that's a factor. It seemed like it played a role in the Jags win over the Bills a couple of years ago. And that actually has me scratching my head about this one. Cleveland is considered the home team, but they're the more disadvantaged traveling team. Edited Wednesday at 05:36 PM by Fleezoid Quote
Stretch Posted Wednesday at 05:37 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:37 PM Colts. Vegas is bad, especially their O-line. Detroit has some good home matchups still later this season. 5 minutes ago, Fleezoid said: That's exactly why I stayed away from Chargers - Giants last week. And I'm obviously glad I did. Normally that’s a bad thing, but he can’t be worse than Flacco. An extra week in Europe should be a big plus for Minny, but Wentz has looked bad and the Cleveland D can be nasty. I see this as a FG game and I don’t like taking those for survivor. Quote

Yeah, good points. Those 9:30 games have also had some wonky results over the years. All of that considered, my gut is telling me stay away from it. And I don't want to mess with my gut, because that's where I store all my beer. Quote
