Whatever it takes TBH. All things in a vacuum, would Howie even consider moving him to a (cross conference) contender?

This is why those of us in the WR camp find the lack of investment at the position so frustrating! Its nearly impossible to get one when you are a contender and especially without a rookie QB deal.  WRs have had an uptrend in last 5+ years in being immediately productive, but its not a given. So realistically you have 2 identify one, spend decent draft capital, and develop for a year or two.

"31 POINTS! 31 POINTS!!!"

Don't want to hear it. We're laboring to move the ball if you watch amd aren't just hawking the box score.

Josh will get us the most out of our investment at WR. Its delusional to think we aren't going to struggle on 3rd downs when we run into the Spagnolas/Fangios of the NFL!

Do we need to be better on D? Yes! Have we shown to be capable of improving with even heavy resources sunk into it? No.

Their is no requirement to win the SB with a top 10 defense *AND* offense. Stop doing what doesn't work, and give Josh some f'ing help. We need to stretch the field laterally and lengthwise.

I feel like we could trade defenses I've rosters with Philly and somehow still not be able to use it, or develop it.

If were going to use Josh to overcome our coaching and talent deficiencies (at positions), then there are no half measures

We are in no way laboring to move the ball. Any more than anyone else, anyway. This offense is deadly. And it's not just points. We're second in the league in yards per game, and less than half a yard per game out of first. Second in points, and only one PPG out of first.

Yeah, we'll struggle against Spagnola/Fangio. So does everyone.

Pretending that what we're doing on offense "doesn't work," is nuts. Flat-out nuts!!

Lack of draft resources? A 3rd plus for Amari Cooper. The #33 pick for Keon.

What we have needed, and apparently did a pretty good job of acquiring this year, was a pass rush that could hurry Mahomes.

Not exactly a fit for an offense that spreads it around. Then there's the cost/compensation which would be high.

We need a Safety because Rapp has been 💩. I'd be looking into Justin Simmons if I were Beane.

2nd corner and LB opposite Bernard is more of a concern to me. Tre White isn't that guy anymore and Dorian Williams was all over the place instead of where he should've been

There have been rumblings about Brown before in Philly, but this may gain some traction this time. Apparently he's not too happy with the direction of the offense at this time and has posted some cryptic tweet/tweets about it. The Eagles could trade him now without too much concern cap-wise. He's 28 and probably has 3 good years in him at least. What say you TBD? First, do you think he would put us over the top if he does become available? And then, what would you be willing to part with for him?

If he doesn’t like his SB ring and the Philly offense he’s not gonna be happy here

Not a fit for our offense? He would actually fix the one glaring problem that we have.

I didn't realize AJ Brown played defense, too.

He doesn't. We're talking about the offense

The biggest need that the Bills have is to improve their defense.  If Brown doesn't play defense (which I very well knew), then he certainly wouldn't fill the Bills "biggest need".

I know a lot of folks are thinking in terms of the present, but this very well might be our last go with this scheme.

Brady was already interviewing for HC gigs this past season.

He might have his pick of the litter this year with opportunities. There could be roughly 10 or so openings available (Tenn, Atl, Mia, Hou, Cle, Cin, Car, NYG, Ari, Bal).

There's almost nothing for this team to add offensively (in any scheme) aside from a bonafide alpha talent at WR.

It is a well oiled machine as long as Allen is at the helm and I will always be in favor of giving him top notch weapons.

Again, I was talking about the OFFENSE. For whatever reason, you're twisting my words and arguing a point I never made.

If we were gonna pay big money for a superstar WR it should have been DK Metcalf, still annoys me we let him go to the steelers.

I'd rather spend any money we might have on a safety now, the need is more pressing

I knew he would start this after I saw their first game and they barely threw.

Thats the problem with diva receivers! He doesn’t care about winning; he wants the ball!

Agreed. But also it is bonkers that Hurts didn't complete a single pass in the second half.

So he would go from one situation where he doesn't believe he is being targeted as much as he'd like to a situation where he would be targeted even less?

the eagles are bizarre on offense. The variations are extreme. And we know Hurts can throw the ball.

The eagles should think about opening up their passing game more just to keep all these malcontent receivers happy.

Everybody eats here.

We just need everybody to get open more.

AJ is open even when he isn't open.  I'd take him in a heartbeat.  Even if it meant he was absolutely miserable all the way to the Super Bowl parade.

I think it’s clear that the Bills have zero intention of adding a highly priced WR who is going to demand the football not in the concept of the offense.

I agree Gabe Davis plays before we start trading... right or wrong I think that is where we are at...
