Only 4-8 get in each year. I was thinking the same thing. There are so many guys that could retire in next 1-2 years there will be some hard choices to make. Quote
MJS Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Not first ballot, but Calais Campbell could get in. He is a 6 time pro bowler, 1 time first team all pro, 2 time 2nd team all pro. He is just a role player now, but he was pretty dominant for Arizona and Jacksonville for many years. Not sure I'd put him in, but he has a chance. 1 2 Quote

Von Miller goes in first ballot. Saquon and Nelson get in though also probably not first ballot. I actually think Lane Johnson could be a first ballot guy if I was moving someone up. Evans has had over 1000 yards in every season he's played in, aka 11 maybe 12 straight seasons. I can't think of any other WR doing that. 2 Quote
mannc Posted September 23 Posted September 23 I’d add Davonte Adams, and I’d add Puka Nacua to the “too soon to tell but have a good chance” list…he continues to be underrated because he was a sixth round pick. Quote

He's 3000 yards behind Reggie Wayne who is not elected. Hill obviously is a superior talent to Wayne but he still needs the numbers. With how hard it is to get WRs in and his domestic abuse allegations, I dont see it. At the age of 31, not sure he has enough career left to make it. 1 Quote

Puka’s styke of play could leave him on the IR more and more often as he gets older. It will be interesting to see his career develop because he does have the skills to be a HOFer. Quote

(And in case you didn’t watch the game on Thursday, he still has a lot left in the tank, but his QB sucks) There is no planet in which Reggie Wayne deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Tyreek Hill, longevity stats aside.. 1 Quote
LarryMadman Posted September 23 Posted September 23 I think Jonathan Taylor goes first ballot. Barring injury he will end up with 7500 rush yards this year and wont be 27 til mid January. I could see him with 10000 before 30 years old and ultimatly 12000 - 13000 rush yards and 300 receptions for 3000 by the end of his career. 1 Quote

Einstein Posted September 23 Posted September 23 What all these names tell me is that the Hall of Fame is really the “Hall of very good”. I wish it was really reserved for the best of the best. Meaning, generational players. 2 Quote
BillMafia716ix Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Von Miller and Khalil Mack are 1st ballot Quote

Generational talents in many cases. These are the players that I think will be first ballot HOF in no particular order. Decent mix of offense and defense. Zach Martin retired this year so he is not on the list but he is first ballot HOF for sure. I feel like I am missing other OL and DBs. Josh Allen Patrick Mahomes Aaron Rodgers Derrick Henry Mike Evans Lamar Jackson Bobbie Wagner Fred Warner Trent Williams Travis Kelce Chris Jones Myles Garrett TJ Watt Cameron Heyward Joel Bitonio Too soon to tell but have a really good chance Penei Sewell Ja'marr Chase Justin Jefferson Patrick Surtain Several young QBs that have a lot to prove yet Probably need to wait until year 2 of eligibility Matthew Stafford Lane Johnson DeAndre Hopkins Well this isn't something you see everyday lol. 3 Guys to block one dude. Myles is the new Bruce Smith. Aidan Hutchinson may soon follow. 24 minutes ago, Einstein said: What all these names tell me is that the Hall of Fame is really the “Hall of very good”. If they stuck to their name, there would be no offensive linemen and Deshawn Watson would be first ballot with a massage table exhibit in the lobby and OJ's white bronco would get its own wing. 2 1 Quote

Khalil Mack and Saquon could sneak in on the 1st ballot. Jalen Ramsey has a 1st ballot resume. Calais Campbell probably waits but he too could go. If Khalil Mack goes in on the first ballot they should shut the thing down. 1 Quote
Fleezoid Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Mike Evans should be a unanimous first ballot inductee. Quote
