  • AFC East looking like a runaway again
  • Allen playing at other-worldly level
  • Cook making new contract look like an underpay
  • Kincaid healthy and making plays
  • Defense “surviving” despite key injuries/suspensions and getting young guys valuable reps

I mean, sure, folks are always going to complain about something (see: first page of this forum), but realistically it’s hard to find fault with how things are playing out to date, with a very manageable schedule leading into the KC game.

Go Bills!

H2H against Baltimore

Houston 0-3

Chiefs 1-2 and not looking great

Bengals 2-1 but now Burrowless.

If the top 4 seeds come playoff time are Buffalo, Baltimore, Chargers and Colts man I will feel good about our chances.

I've seen people complaining about the Bills schedule and while I tend to dismiss those kinds of things (opponents and home/away get set the moment the regular season ends) I cant deny that the Bills got a softer start the year to get through suspensions and injury while giving the young guys reps. But to their credit they have made the most of it.

Next week you see the 0-3 Phins play the 0-3 Jets and a badly struggling Chiefs team plays the Ravens who will be coming off a huge game on a short week.

If the Bills keep taking care of business they could build one hell of a lead

The schedule is what it is. Everyone knows the formula years in advance, some years you get a break, some years you don't. Most of the time I have been an NFL fan it is a good think to have either the AFCS or the NFCS on your schedule that year. Cos those divisions are often rough. And now the Dolphins have taken a step back the AFCE is a pretty good division to live in as a starting point too.

EDIT: as an aside our 2026 schedule could be brutal. AFC West and NFC North. That is Chiefs, Chargers, Broncos, Vikings, Packers, Lions at a minimum who are all I'd say top half of the NFL teams right now. And there are signs of life for the Bears too. Our other out of conference game is NFC West as well which looks right now like being the 9ers. Plus division winners of the AFCS (maybe Colts?) and AFCN (Ravens). There isn't gonna be a lot of chaff other than the division games on that schedule. Of course the Bills can beat all of those teams but that is probably shaping up as the hardest schedule of the McDermott - Allen era.

And then that one guy on a message board jinxed them by starting a thread about how well the season started...

:thumbsup:

LETS GO!

This is been like the 6th thread like this in the last week. It's like these people forgot which franchise they pull for.

Being greedy, I would've wanted our secondary to play better and for our passcatchers to look more explosive and create more separation.

Happy with 3-0 though of course

I love watching the NFC beat the absolute **** out of each other and then throw in a weak AFC and things are shaping up nicely.

AFC contenders at this point........

* Colts are playing out of their minds (i don't believe they can sustain any duration)

* Ravens are a force and thank Christ we got the win on this one

* KC, although 1-2 are still dangerous and to be the man, you've gotta beat the man (we need the Ravens to take care of KC and beat them even lower.......we've got the head-to-head win against Baltimore, so whatever needs to happen with KC to wallow in their own **** is fine with me)

* Chargers (see my point on the Colts)

* Cincy.......i don't think they are scaring anyone without Burrow and i think you'll see them fade away into obscurity as the season progresses

No excuses, Bills fans.......no excuses.

We got this.

This is our year.

The Bills getting made fun of on the national shows for having an "easy" schedule is silly talk.  They have no control over it.  When they had hard schedules on paper the previous couple years no one cared to mention that. The Ravens looked like they had a tough division but now the Steelers are mid, the Bengals have crashed and the Browns can't score but they have a nice D.

I finally gave in and started using the ignore feature where needed. My life has improved as a result.

Yep, as long as we can keep playing zero-win teams! And... look who's on deck Sunday! lol

i'm not worried about houston, kc, or cinci... other teams that have some interesting schedules...

colts schedule:

@Rams

Raiders

Cardinals

@Chargers

Titans

Falcons

@Steelers

@Falcons

Bye

@Chiefs

Texans

@Jaguars

@Seahawks

Niners

Jaguars

@Texans

Not worried there but that's not a hard row to hoe. Chargers, Rams should be a loss. At best they have 2 losses.

Chargers

@Giants

Commanders

@Dolphins

Colts

Vikings

@Titans

Steelers

@Jaguars

Raiders

Eagles

@Chiefs

@Cowboys

Texans

@Broncos

That's 3 tough games between Commanders, Eagles, the later season version of the Chiefs. 3 losses at best.

Ravens schedule

Lions

@Chiefs

Texans

Rams

Bears

@Dolphins

@Vikings

@Browns

Jets

Bengals

Jets

Bengals

Steelers

@Bengals

Patriots

@Packers

Steelers

At best that could be 2 losses; Packers and Rams. Throw a kicker in there of maybe the Chiefs and one of their AFCN rivals to say maybe they hit 3 losses.

Either way, I think the Bills need to go ahead and lose a game this week by letting the Saints win because losing to NFC teams doesn't count.

Best part is either KC will have 3L's or Baltimore with have 2L's by the end of next week as they play each other.

Hey and I heard on another thread that they may be the only 4-0 team in the league soon too, but that may only be for like 1 or 2 minutes. In all seriousness I agree and I am optimistic that the D is going to get better as the season progresses as well.  3-0 is great but it is in spite of the flaws the team has. If they can put it all together at the end of the year…look out!! Is ther any way they make a splash before the trade deadline to add a playmaker on D?

Acting as if the Colts have demonstrated ANY consistency that would give you confidence that DC's won't catch up to Daniel Jones by midseason is a little ludicrous.  3 games for a new QB in a new system is not much.  If that was the case, Fitz would be a HOF QB based on what he did in the first 5-6 games in TB.  They might be a decent, or even good team but they are not an elite team.  10-11 wins is likely their max this year.

I'm sorry that I don't want to plan a Super Bowl parade just yet and remain cautiously optimistic.

I'd like to critique your posts too, but I honestly can't recall you saying anything memorable or interesting. I'm assuming you're part of the "Only constant homerism will be accepted here" contingent of the board.
