Disclaimer: Daboll obviously bears some responsibility for the way the Giants perform, given that he is the head coach of this team.

 

That being said, the Giants have had an absurd number of plays over the last few years and especially the last few games where players have absolutely screwed the pooch of their own accord in a fashion that just cannot be blamed on coaching. It's genuinely ridiculous.

Nah, in real time it looked like the DB pulled the WR down. But the slow mo' replay shows the WR was going down anyway, the defender didn't really pull him down. The DB also had his head turned around and was making a play on the ball the whole time. Tough to officiate in real time, but they usually give defenders more leeway on those bomb prayers (otherwise there would be DPI and OPI every hail mary).

I can’t believe Daboll is letting Russ chuck up rainbows without cussing him out and benching him. Allen and getting older must’ve mellowed Daboll because I can’t believe he hasn’t gotten benched.

The giants DL fire off the ball with incredible speed.  Our DL must be half as explosive at the snap.  I’d like to watch an overlay video to show the difference it would be shocking.
