Is TJ sanders on the team?

I know Walker and hawes are ! And we’re still wondering about Groot. But figured with how much capital we used to acquire him w the 9th pick in the 2nd round. And very little to show thus far. Hopefully people smarter than I can tell me he’s going to be good. This year. To try and win a Super Bowl.

Its early and he's playing the same position as Oliver which after week 1 were big shoes to fill.

 

Its not ideal that Oliver is out right now, but the silver lining is that the kid gets some more reps. I'm hoping he flashes a bit more going forward.

 

To my eye, I didn't see really bad play out of him, just nothing truly impactful. 

 

DQ Jones is actually disintegrating before our eyes. Tua looked like he was running Tyreek Hill speed away from him a few times last night. The sooner the two kids take his snaps away, the better imo. 

 

TJ is not yet on my list of concerns.

People need to relax , he’s playing average but he also was a very direct result of Zion Logues sack last week and he’s in his 3rd NFL game. Kincaid is just showing his emergence and he’s now in year 3 . These guys need time to adjust

I think that is harsh on Daquan. I have thought he was washed for over a year, but he was fine last night.

Yeah, the Jackson pick is concerning. The guy just looks too stiff for the NFL. Not sure what can be done with him, but I'm thinking he needs at least an entire year of work before there's any hope of him seeing meaningful playing time.

Yea but I think once Ed and Larry O back. I’m betting sanders is a healthy scratch to join Landon.

I think Daquon Jones is going to come down with a mysterious IR for 4 weeks injury . I also think once Hoecht is back you see AJ Epenesa get traded just my opinion

I keep forgetting about Larry and Hoecht.  Will be intriguing to see what happens there

The love that some people had for this guy, I never understood.  He looked extremely stiff in college.  It's pretty simple to project that he would likely look even more stiff in the pros.  As always, I obviously hope that I'm wrong, but even Boggie Basham saw the field.

Right. So has hawes and Walker. Sanders getting even more playing time (I think) w Ed out for 2 games. And just haven’t noticed him. At all. Somewhat concerning for a 2nd round pick no?

I wouldn’t get too caught up in Jackson not being active either. It’s a numbers game and Solomon is further along and plays STs. 
 

Epenesa was inactive a lot his rookie year? Bishop barely played and by the way last couple of games he hasn’t been bad. Shakir was inactive early etc. it’s not a sign necessarily that Jackson is  going to be a useless pick.

Do we care? He's not going to be dressing ahead of AJE, Groot, or Bosa for sure. The coaches clearly like Solomon more at this point with an extra year in the system compared to Jackson. Solomon was a healthy scratch often times last year. Hoecht will be coming back after week 6 at some point. I always thought this pick was to develop him for next year anyways when likely AJE and Bosa may both be gone. Jackson's sitting is just indicative of roster depth and the desire to develop talent for the future.

Sanders played the most snaps of all our DTs, other than D. Jones, so there is certainly some faith in him from the coaching staff. And not for nothing, they were facing a QB who gets rid of the ball faster than any other QB in the league.

Nah. Not yet. He hasn't been making splash plays but he hasn't been making big mistakes either.
