Honestly, coming off the bench with only a few seconds notice to complete a 3rd down pass over one of the top CBs in the game is really impressive

I feel like Joe Brady equally deserves credit. When your QB goes down, you expect the backup to come in and hand the ball off a couple times. The offense did the opposite of what everyone thought. Caught me off guard at least.

Loud and clear.  Time to end the JA experiment.

When I heard about a QB battle after today's game I thought Taylor over fields or something...

It yeah, Trubisky over Allen is clear.

...in all seriousness, will Taylor get the nod soon?

Down 27 pts with nothing to lose and he’s still tentative to throw the ball unless someone is college open. The Jets need to know if Fields can play, not win a few extra games with Taylor this season.

Fields showed he can't in Chicago and Pittsburgh. He needs to sit on the bench and develop himself a little bit. He was rushed in Chicago and unfairly projected to success in Pittsburgh.

He doesn't see the field well enough to be a starter imo.  There's too many throws he can't make with touch and timing.  They aren't good whether he starts or not, and its not a long-term deal so i would assume they just play out the season and move on.

PROS - Arm strength, athleticism, read-option to expand your rushing playbook

CONS - Accuracy over the middle is bad, Accuracy while running is a bit scattershot, Sack magnet, and ball security.  For an athlete too i don't think he operates that well out of structure.

How many years are teams gonna wait for him to develop? He is making 20 million this year, has started 38 games and completed 3 passes for 27 yards yesterday. Thats peterman bad. Trubisky completed 1 for 32 with a few seconds notice he needed to play.

That bench should be in the UFL.
