Yeah, Josh, Jimbo, and Joey.

Not a lot of game balls to go around today because the big uglies (linemen) on both sides of the ball completely controlled the game and it was just a solid, team win.

Not game balls, but a few guys to shoutout:

#1: Cole Bishop: 5 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 Sack, 1 QB hit (hopefully he's ascending)

#2: Elijah Moore for getting involved and for his TD (I think Brady will keep trying to find ways to use Moore's speed).

#3: Sam Franklin, Jr. Three big special teams tackles early in the game.

#4: Mitch Trubisky for coming in cold with a big throw and keeping the offense rolling until Josh came back.

Cook, Bosa, Torrence, Benford, Sanders, and Prater

I may be wrong but it seemed the interior pressure was mostly due to McGovern getting beat. Torrence looked dominant in run game.

Again, I may be wrong but I think Sanders held his own up front. Hell even DQ looked competent today. If anyone saw something different please point out.

Special shout out to a guy I've criticized before. Trubisky made one amazing throw in a difficult situation.  Have to wonder if they have an emergency play or two that he reps more than others for just such a situation.

Loved the hit on Garrett by Bishop.  This defense needs somebody who plays with an edge.

I even liked the quick shove afterward. If he can bring some nastiness to the team, I'm all for it. Yeah, don't draw penalties too much, but play through the whistle and don't back down.

Josh and Cook definitely get their automatic game balls, and while I toyed with revoking Shakir's, his one catch went for a first down.  Not his fault they didn't need him at all.

Elijah Moore - Welcome back to the Meadowlands Elijah!  That end around for the TD probably felt real good.

The OL - The big uglies opened up holes for James Cook and basically kept Josh clean except for one sack.

Joey Bosa - Two forced fumbles and a hit that knocked Fields out the game.  Sure he lost contain on the big scramble by Fields, but as someone else said in the GDT, I'll take the constant pressure on the opposing QB over the occasional big scramble.  First time we've gotten consistent pressure on the QB since before Von blew out his knee.

Zion "Donal" Logue - Made the most of his limited snaps, with a sack and a batted ball.

The entire secondary - The Bills much maligned secondary had a day today, holding the Jets to 10 points.

The offensive line as a UNIT. This dominant performance on the ground wouldn’t have happened without them. I think these guys will be the difference between a championship season. Their chemistry and durability is off the charts. We are going to see career highs in rushing numbers. If they can do that to the Jets and Ravems then they are going to destroy the rest of the schedule.

My defensive MVP is Bosa. He’s going to make a strong case for comeback player of the year. 3 FF and a Sack already. One of the main reasons we won both weeks. He needs to stay healthy.

Honestly, did anyone not play at least reasonably well?

(Here come the Ray Davis and Dawson Knox haters.  Okay, okay… but it’s not like they fumbled or contributed to a pick (hello Travis) or got Josh blown up or anything.)

OL did a good job blocking a great front four and got Jimbo a lot of yards.  TEs blocked well and all had catches.  Keon had a nice grab, so did Palmer and Shakir, Moore had the TD run.

DL created havoc.  Linebackers and safeties consistently stuck guys short of the sticks.  Corners must have done okay because Garrett Wilson was practically invisible and no one else came close to hurting us.

ST was great - Prater was money; Johnson punted well when he had to, which wasn’t often; coverage was great all around

Solid team win.
