Brianmoorman4jesus Posted September 10 Posted September 10 (edited) “The Bible” because the book was written on it years ago. We have watched the same game by this defense for 7 years straight. 2017 it was good. That offseason teams learned how to get to it. We have still not changed. Our coach is only here because of defense but wins because of the offense. If we had an ounce of competence on that side of the ball, we’d have 2 rings. And it’s not the players. We have good players on defense. It’s 100% the coaching. We have 3 LBs that can run and cover and get mauled by every physical team at the point of attack. We are the one team in the league that can play a base defense every down and instead We play nickel more than anyone. We are stubbornly obsessed with doing what we want regardless of it working or not. If a good DC was here and had complete authority over the defense, we win the Super Bowl Edited September 10 by Brianmoorman4jesus 1 1 Quote

It’s 6 years to late. Although in fairness I have been saying it since then. I’m sure most people are painfully aware 1 Quote

Late game fatigue tends to favor the offense, and yet even after getting embarrassed for three quarters, this D forced two punts and a fumble to give Josh a chance. They bent a lot for three quarters but definitely did not break. 1 3 Quote
Fleezoid Posted September 10 Posted September 10 I propose we call the defense Hank. I've always liked the name Hank. It's the salt-of-the-earth, old-fashion, blue collar kind of name. 1 Quote

Respectfully, if the 1st 3.5 quarters is not breaking I honestly am not sure what is... props for the turnover and the stop of an overly conservative last Baltimore drive, other than that... they are quite honestly a fire drill. 1 3 Quote
