My final thought on this game is that it shows how difficult it is to beat the Chiefs. You have to make like five different game winning plays. Final score got a little tight but I didn’t really feel the chiefs magic in this one tbh…felt like the chargers had guys wide open all over the field all night. Really uncharacteristic stuff.  Felt so strange seeing the chiefs get held to a fg after that huge Brown catch too

I noticed that too about the front 4.

 

But, the offense looks off, not just one WR away off.  They have looked off for two years now.  Starting a 3rd year a little slow.

As someone who thought KC would be very good this year offensively, I couldn’t be happier.  The OL looked terrible.  But it’s early it could take time for the left side to gel.  Taylor is an abomination at RT though.  If he’s not cheating, he’s getting wrecked on the reg.

Yea I think the offense will be better than last year…the oline seemed to hold up ok most of the game which is a slight improvement.   that was one of the worst defensive performances I’ve seen from them in awhile though and that unit has been carrying them recently.  Even if the offense makes a jump they could theoretically be a worse team than last season 

we’ve been fighting a pretty big uphill battle against them in the playoffs because their defense has been exponentially harder to score on than ours 😂

Couldn’t agree more.  He’ll be back and he’ll make some huge plays, but long term, I don’t see him being able to last. I expect him to morph into Baylor Spector at some point in the next 2 years.

Are they cracking down on his early drops? I didn’t see him moving as egregiously early as usual lol

Their offense wasn't dynamic. No running game and short quick passes. Tough way to run an offense. 15 is that good though. He can pretty much beat you by himself.
