Then rebounded and won going away

If they come out down 2 scores against Baltimore, it's over..

They came out pretty flat against the Cardinals last year in the season opener.

and the Jets the previous year and the loss to the Steelers the year before that...

He played in the Preseason those years (except for 2020 when no one played) so didn’t help

That's fine let another team have a false sense of victory.

Giants-  "we just beat the Bills. Don't sleep on us"

Bears-  "we just throttled the Bills. 17-0 here we come"

It’s all they have, let them live a little before reality sets in

The Bears friday scrimmage was the Starters preseason game.  It’s controlled and less chance for injury. This has been talked about and sitting out the games is the correct play for the Bills offense.

It's been a coin flip the last few years. There's been a few duds to start the season. I have a gut feeling this will be one of them.

This probably means the starting OL is not playing either

Certain death for Mike White

The way he “played” last week that feels fair

Do people really think Allen needs the reps? He's been the most consistent thing about the team since 2020.

Allen himself doesn't think he needs the reps.

I hope Mike White at least gets the opportunity to play with the starting OL as Mitch had in preseason game 1.

Reporters said that yesterday’s practice was really bad offensively, with Allen demonstratively upset quite a few times. Guess McD isn’t concerned about the live reps and feels the starters are ready.

The Bengals starters played a bit in the preseason and had multiple touchdowns. Burrow & Chase look ready to go. As for Buffalo, we have no clue. I guess only time will tell. If we can win week one I guess it won’t matter.

When the Bucs 4th stringers kick the crap out of the Bills 4th stringers it will make reading the posts in the post-game thread very enjoyable :)

but what if our 4th stringers make Baker Mayfield look like the bust he was in Cleveland/Carolina?

If the Bills start slow this year, there will be at least 50 threads on here about a lack of preseason snaps for the starters.

Agreed.

No win situation. Play him, and if he gets hurt the coach is getting run out of town.

Burrow was running for his life as well. Starting OL down there is frightening
