Not now, but when it is time to cut down.  It looks like a number of teams have been getting solid play out of third string QBs this preseason.  Buffalo has gotten too little out of any of their backups.  It's hard to imagine that they couldn't find someone better when teams make their cuts.  They would probably save some money on their cap too.  I'm only being a little facetious.

Absolutely, if a decent one becomes available.

Pickett or somebody like that would at least give you a chance to win a game if Josh was out. I don't have any confidence either of the guys we have could do that. I fear our offense would look like yesterday's preseason game.

Here in NJ the talk is the Giants are fielding offers for Winston as they like what they have seen from Dart. If the Bills think he would be a better backup QB, then Trubisky and White then the Bills should call the Giants and see if something can be worked out.

You should ask Josh Allen — it’s his QB room, and the backup choice likely depends on whether he wants that guy there.

We’ve never really seen Trubisky with the 1’s in a meaningful game (and hopefully we don’t), but if it happens, he gives you as good of a chance as any backup would. He's 31-26 in his career as a starter.

Tyson Bagent looks like he's better than any drought era QB we had besides maybe Fitz or Tyrod

Dude. That throw by him to the corner of the EZ over Hancock was pretty sweet. I know Dane wasn’t exactly making it the tightest of windows but it was impressive nonetheless.

He was slinging it a few years ago when he stepped in for Fields. And if I’m honest, the drop off to him wasn’t that bad. Seemed to be forcing a lot of stuff during the games which would clean up over time. Definitely not a bad backup to have, especially for an undrafted guy.

I think he's regressed since posting those numbers. Most of which occurred earlier in his career. The two years he left and started a few games for Pittsburgh he was 2-5 and had more INT's than TD's. He's hot trash at this point. I don't even think we have a a guy that can keep us a float for 4-5 weeks if necessary.

Josh Allen is not going to publicly say anything negative about his backups, nor should he.  One of the many positives about him is he's 100% a team guy all they way.  His teammates trust him and he's not going to do anything to violate that trust.  Throwing a teammate under the bus violates that trust.

On the all-22 dane was dogging that - like you know you're in man, and you know the safety is going to have eye candy in front.  He didn't even look like he was running.

He played well with Matt Nagy calling plays in Chicago and struggled with Matt Canada calling plays in Pittsburgh. Their offensive line in Pittsburgh was also atrocious.

Feeling just fine about him behind our O-Line with Joe Brady calling plays.

Not what I meant, Josh is very much on the record about what he wants out of the QB room.

The Bills backup QBs are there to support Josh and help him be the most prepared that he can be each week. If they have to play, we are most likely cooked anyway.

Buffalo can't find a competent backup who is also a good support to Allen?

So your bet is on Brady being the first OC Allen has played with not crapping themselves with another QB at the helm? We could "McD ball" our way to a few wins. But Mitch is completely washed at this point.

Bailey Seafood is already:

1. Considering a celebrity endorsement.

2. Adding a security guard.

Wasn't that long ago we were clamoring for guys like Matt Leinert, Kevin Kolb etc.  And now people are saying cut all the backups ?  -  Guys we would have been excited about Pre-Josh ?  LOL !!!  I'll trust the coaches on this one.
