zow2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I needed an extra ticket for the Saints game in the LL endzone area near our other seats. The ticket is $340 + 65 fees + 30 tax. That's $435 for a single ticket for a non-flashy opponent. This must be the perfect storm of great team plus the final season at the stadium and everyone wants to attend a game. Otherwise just wow. boyst Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago you're buying way too early. buy as late as 20 minutes into the game. 1 2 3 Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The New Orleans game is very pricey for some reason. Usually NFC teams lack interest. Quote
MikePJ76 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I have been waiting for prices to change for either the saints or bucs games. Bucs game is cheaper but I prefer to come home and attend a game in late september and enjoy a real fall for the weekend as opposed to potential freezing rain or worse in november. Prices are crazy so far. 1 Quote

A lot of us out-of-towners, especially those of us over 50 typically come in for an early season (warmer weather) Sunday game. The Saints happens to be the only Sunday 1pm game. It's really a bit of a schedule quirk. Quote

If you are making a cross country trip or something similar that involves hotels etc. you can't count on getting tickets in the last 24 hours. 2 Quote

Seriously, prices will generally drop for non-key games as you get closer. If all you want is a single I might even wait until just before kickoff. 1 Quote

You will almost certainly get your game ticket. There’s always some risk, but it’s small. Especially for a home Bills game vs NFC team. If it’s say, the Chiefs game ? Maybe a different strategy is required. Otherwise prices will be ridiculously high early, and drop steadily as kickoff approaches. After a point they may creep up again due to short supply. Have to wait it out, but there will be tickets. Quote

I'm traveling to the Carolina game and probably overpaid for tickets. But I like the comfort of having the tickets before i get on a plane. 1 Quote

I think it's because the Saints game is the last Sunday Afternoon game before November. The opener is a Sunday Night game, then it is on the road for the Jets, then the Dolphins game is a Thursday night game, then you have the Saints game which is a plain old afternoon game late September and the next week is a Sunday Night game against the Pats. The last two weeks of October are away games. The next time the Bills play is home against KC on November 2nd. So if you want a "normal" football experience in September/October on a Sunday afternoon it is kind of that Saints game or you gotta see a primetime game. Edited 1 hour ago by billsfan89 2 Quote

Just can’t guarantee the price. Tickets aren’t going to be cheap for a few years. Last year of this stadium and the first couple years of the new one will be expensive. Sometimes waiting until closer gets you cheaper tickets sometimes they go up. For the Hamlin game I bought them in early August. Before the game they were selling for 4 times what I paid. The playoff game against the bengals that year I bought 100 level around the 20 for $200 for the pair about 2 hours before. I usually get good seats cheap but I check 3-4 times a day for months. Sometimes they don’t go down. Edited 1 hour ago by Not at the table Karlos Quote

This Saints game is a unicorn. Final season at Highmark, Bills are great,... I'm not sure prices will drop much at all unless you can actually wait until it kicks off and someone has to dump their tix. It's the only Sunday, 1pm game when the weather is going to be decent. There are many fans for whatever reason that are not going to attend night games. Quote

Many with those considerations have already bought in. Not much in the way of 1 pm games that will be decent weather after that. Night games are traditionally a tougher sell here to be sure. Probably a $100 to $150 difference at most though unless after kickoff. If you don’t want to wait then bite the bullet. There still won’t be a ton of price movement for quite some time. Quote

I rarely get to Buffalo (9.5 hours by car) with tickets in advance. When I do they're from someone I know at face or reasonable cost. There has been a hundred times I've told my secret way to getting great seats or even front row playoff seats for $150ish. 1 hour ago, Fleezoid said: My thoughts exactly. I'll wait until the week before. I know my budget for my two: $1500. I won't even begin to shop until the season starts. Carolina fans are too busy for tickets and being obssesed with NASCAR, golf, and trying to make it with their cousin. Quote

Yea I am not driving 1600 miles and paying for a hotel on my way up and back without having tickets in hand. Guess I am just weird like that. Quote
