I like Steve well enough like most here, but he does stumble on words and seems to struggle a bit getting his thoughts out. He's the fan favorite, good enough for local radio and podcasts. Just don't expect him doing MNF anytime soon.

Coach answered the reason for this in the past game. 0 scheme, just evaluation of individuals in a base look intentionally

Nuthin but luv, but Les was part of the problem for years, especially in the post season, guy never had a real plan “B” ever, we both know he admitted as much, which was remarkable, in a bad way. Yeah, he's not amazing, but he is fine for the local broadcast. People saying he is unlistenable are just being silly and seem to have some kind of grudge.

Ditto. Looks like the same D to me. Not a lot of pressure and giving up 3rd and long. Watching the Jets D line now and they are pushing Green Bay all over the field. I expected more pressure from our revamped D line.

Yeah,  I'm worried that they're going to screw around and squander their time with a franchise QB,  too,  but this is the route they've chosen and realistically,  DL picks usually need some time.

I disagree on the bolded.

 

Different people have different standards and expectations when judging the performance of those who are paid to go behind a mic or in front of a camera and speak to large audiences.

 

Tasker's job is not based on anything approaching merit.

 

For people who place a high value on merit, Tasker is a tough pill to swallow... in fact I have a hard time believing that there's not an ex-Bill who could do a better job... but for whatever reasons, he got the job.

Here's an example, right before the end of the half he starts talking about how the Bills will probably kneel it out because of their injuries and, without even pausing he pivots mid sentence to talking about how it's good to challenge yourself and try to score when he sees the Bills arent going to kneel. It was ridiculous.

And what's the issue with that? He thought they might kneel and they didn't. He then talked about the merits of not kneeling. Why is that bad? Those things aren't mutually exclusive. There are good things and bad things about either approach.

Because he did it without acknowledging that what he said first was wrong. He just kept talking as though it was his original thought and it sounded ridiculous.
