I’m not familiar with Sharp Objects, but will check it out. I saw a couple episodes of Chernobyl and need to go back and watch the whole thing. I like the actor for the main character. 2 minutes ago, Alphadawg7 said: It won’t be boring, it’s a show focused on the players, the people, the team, behind the scenes. It’s not a show focused on camp news, player evaluations, etc. that we mostly discuss here. While some do that naturally is covered, it’s not the meat of the show. I can’t wait personally, and the couple clips that have come out like Tre Messing with the water boy, all look fun and entertaining. Ill tune in tonight and give it a gander. Wife and I finished "The Pit" last night. I fully recommend. 1 Quote

I would if it hadn't turned into 5 pages of off-topic fun; that's typically why I wait until the curtain is about to drop to start any "official" pinned thread. I'll probably make a fresh one about 8-9:00 unless somebody else wants to go for it. 2 Quote
Process Posted Tuesday at 10:03 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:03 PM (edited) Anyone know if these will be available on demand with a subscription? I can't watch live at 9, can I watch it sometime later tonight after it airs? Edited Tuesday at 10:04 PM by Process Quote

I had it free for years when I was with ATT, but I am with Verizon now and I get it in a cheap bundle with some other stuff. Sopranos - epic, top 3 show all time IMHO. Succession - One of the best shows of the past decade IMHO. Game of Thrones - Best of its genre House of Dragon - Also great, same world as Game of Thrones Barry - Excellent - Great balance between comedy, drama and action - more comedy than anything. The Wire - one of the best of its kind. Curb Your Enthusiasm - Uncensored and politically incorrect "Seinfeld" - its excellent. Silicon Valley - Rewatching this again now actually and still hilarious. Entourage - Another all time great comedy loosely based on Mark Wahlberg and Are Emmanuel (head of WME) The Wire - one of the best of its kind. Eastdown and Bound & Vice Pricinipals - if you like Danny McBride, two hilarious comedy series True Detective - Season 1 especially (each season is different and independent from the others) White Lotus - All seasons have been really good, each season is also different and independent from the others for the most part. The Night Of - One of the all time best limited series shows IMHO The Jinx - Awesome docuseries following alleged killer Robert Durst There are a lot of other great shows, limited series, documentaries etc all depending on taste, this is just more of a hit list I would start with. Its really got some of the best original content of any content provider out there IMHO. Agreed Barry and Succession are two of the best original shows on there for sure. I haven't watched Veep, but Curb is an all time fave for me too. Life and Times of Tim and Ten Year Old Tom are often overlooked gems lol. I still need to watch the Last of Us one of these days. NOTE: Unrelated to HBO - just on the topic of shows - Just finished the first season "Mobland" on Paramount+ (by Guy Ritchie) and it was awesome. You can’t go wrong with Boardwalk Empire. It’s been a long time for me, but loved back then. I highly recommend. Although not a documentary, it has so much based on the mob back in the 20’s, and early 30’s. 15 minutes ago, Simon said: Second hand info but I have heard somebody say they will be available anytime after they air Process, Simon is correct. I plan to watch at 5 am tomorrow before the gym. Quote

(2005) Rome was excellent - only 2 seasons because it was at the time the most expensive show on TV to make and it set the table for shows like Game Of Thrones. Still one of HBO's best shows they did. 26 minutes ago, Tierlifer said: Boardwalk was f’n awesome! I loved Boardwalk, but never watched the final season and keep meaning to go back and watch it but its been so long it would be better I probably just restarted the show. Same with Deadwood, only watched the first season. Loved it, but need to go back and rewatch and finish that one too. 1 Quote

It's not 100% accurate-- there are characters that are a conglomeration of several real-life individuals, and some of the events have been altered editorially to make the story coherent. But the basics are accurate, and it's grim. Very, very grim. But very good series, and worth the time investment. 1 1 Quote
