I agree, Allen’s picks never bothered much at all. I know many disagree, but those same risks also produce incredible feats. Allen can recover from a pick. Scoring drives aren’t at a premium with Allen. You have a chance to score every time he has the ball. The average QB has a limited number of those opportunities, and picks are devastating.

I agree that picks in training camp doesn't matter.  I strongly disagree that turnovers don't matter during the season.  Minimizing turnovers was what made the Bills offense so remarkably efficient last season and why Allen was the MVP.  If the Bills had the same number of turnovers last season as 2023 they would probably have finished 10 and 7 again or worse considering the state of the defense.

Just curious, why would the Bills have to be overly cautious? If they want to put injured players back on the field too early two weeks into camp there is no benefit in doing such.

I'm pretty sure the bills were investigated for their handling of benford

There are a lot of cameras and people around the team right now that may not have the bills best interest in mind

So be overly cautious as to not give low hanging fruit for the league/other teams to come after the bills

I'm making a lot of assumptions but could see this as a possibility

Come on you know that’s not how it works around here-we don’t celebrate players coming back from injury, we only complain about players being injured! Get your head out of your ass man!! 😬

I don’t know how anyone could not be concerned with the injuries we have at WR, LB, S and K.

Also is there a bug going around as a number of players have been out with illness?

The only concern for me is Bass because it’s a leg injury. Even then, they could pick up a kicker that can give them a lot of what Bass does. There’s still over a month until the first game, so while the list is long if there was a game probably 95% of those guys would be practicing and playing

Yeah, I’m not worried about Bass because there’s still a month before the kicks mean anything.  As they are with everyone, the Bills are just being overly cautious right now with nothing on the line.

Honestly, I think the only two "real" injuries are Hairston and Shakir.......the rest would probably be playing if this was the regular season.

The Bills are planning on playing well into January and hopefully February this year......it's a marathon, not a sprint. I want guys healthy then, not gutting it out in training camp even with a minor injury in August.

Remember when everyone ridiculed “Club Marv”? Now it is the norm throughout the league. I agree with you on the injuries.

I think it's been designated as a pelvic injury.  Doesn't reflect ankle, knee, hammy, hip, groin.  Pelvic is something different.  Hopefully easier to come back.

Cam Lewis is not going anywhere this year IMO

In most recent Babich PC he was talking up Lewis.  Someone asked about the difficulty of Hancock picking up two positions, and he basically said tough - 'your job is to know multiple positions in the NFL, this isn't a college roster, no excuses, figure it out, this is pro football' - and he said about Lewis 'Cam Lewis plays a lot of positions, he never makes an excuse, he wants to do everything right, and he works at it, and he's as tough as they come.  What a great example for a guy (Hancock) that has to do multiple things, position versatility is going to add value to you.  And here's a guy who all these things and he's sitting right next to you'

The fact that Babich is calling out Lewis as someone Hancock can learn from and emulate shows how much ahead Lewis is at this point.

The injuries are ridiculous. I thought we had an improved training staff….but it’s same old, same old….and possibly worse.

Or, for all we know, they're being held out because of the new training staff
