Turns 30 this year, I don't think we have the cap space either.

For a win now team like the Bills his age wouldn't be an issue. As for the cap Beane would have to figure it out. He would be a much-needed addition to the WR group

careful.  i put this out there a couple of weeks ago when i came across an article by somebody.  about how it would be a good fit and cost next to nothing in picks.  would have to have a new contract and hes 30,  but hes consistent.  lets just say a handful of people on this board didnt treat me all that nicely.

Thought I had read a few times he was mentioned here as a potential trade. Think it was mixed reviews

What? Why did I think he was much younger???!!!!

That 2019 WR class is a hilarious enigma.

Deebo feels like he’s already done. Terry is gonna be 30. Meanwhile DK and AJ Brown feel like they have another 4 years at least.

Drafting younger players has its perks.

I agree. Not just 30 this year, but 30 with a large, new deal. So some big, guaranteed dollars. I love McLauren as a WR, but that’s a huge risk. Also it would be crippling from a cap standpoint. Nearly impossible numbers-wise and destructive to the roster to find a path to make it work not just this season, but the next couple of years.

Beane should kick the tires here. It can't hurt to ask. Terry would be a nice addition to the WR group.

Kick the tires? Yeah, fair enough.

Can't see how it would work out with the cap and his age and with a new contract being a problem. But I love McLaurin, great player, great attitude. Getting older, but a good guy.

I was listening to. Movin the Chains yesterday, and Pat and Jim believe he’ll get $1 mil. More than Gardner so basically $33.5 mil / yr. For four years.  The MTC guys have been pretty accurate to date.

I don't think his age is an issue. The Bills are a win now team. They aren't looking down the road. They are trying to win a championship this year. The cap is a different story. Beane gets paid the big bucks to figure it out. Maybe the Bills can't make it work cap wise, and they can't pursue McLaurin. Maybe the Commanders won't trade him anyway. But given the Bills WR corps I would call the Commanders and see if they are interested in working out a deal. If they say NO, then so be it. Can't hurt to ask.
