What a team !!! Bennett was a beast, that team had so many really good to great players and was good in all phases of the game . Loved it !!

It’s tough to believe that Nate Odomes wasn’t offside on the FG block, but he wasn’t.

The Bills were being dominated up to that point in the game and a chip shot FG would have given Denver a 24-9 lead and the game was over.

That FG block might be the most amazing game changing play in Bills history, cause the Bills had absolutely no business winning the game.

The 12th man or crowd I think played a large part in intimidating Denver.

I would say that was the good old days but the Bills went 10-0 at home last year.  It's a very intimidating place to play for opponents I think.

See if the new Bills Stadium has that affect on opponents

So did my eyes deceive me in that video or did Scott Norwood miss that extra point???

…Somewhat foreshadowing the future. Ugh!

Yep lol.  And only negative to 51-3 was he missed a field goal wide right that day as well

The thing I always remember most from this game was Elway pleading with the refs to quiet the crowd down when the Bills were on Defense.  It just made the 12th Man get even louder lol.  Funny thing is I just stumbled upon this video last night and apparently he tried pulling the same exact stunt at Arrowhead that same season lol.  Was Elway just a Diva?  Does anybody remember him doing this at KC too?  Was it a talking point that season, I was still pretty young at the time so I had no memory of this happening at Arrowhead too

There was another season ticket holder in our section who sat on the aisle and would often stand up and announce his displeasure with the team when things weren't going well. Because of course the Bills struggles had to be all about him ..

During this game he marched out in a fit announcing that he was done with this team..... right before the three TD barrage.

😂

He was there of course for the next game and was rather sheepish given his prior embarrassing display, but it only lasted one game before he was back to normal.

I forgot about Jaime Mueller.

Just watched it, did I hear them say Rick Dennison, he ended up becoming a coach right?

Yup Dennison was a LB but turned into predominately an OL coach but did spend a few seasons including 1 here as an OC in McDermott's first season here.

He was my favorite player on the late 80's/1st Super Bowl team.  I have a Jamie Mueller jersey.

This came up on my YouTube feed.

Hearkens back to the days when the defense was so good that it was more fun to watch the Bills when the other team had the ball.

I remember that game, Dang that was so cool.

Shameless bump.  I was really hoping someone would have picked up on this and remembered it happening and had some insight to offer.  I would have loved to attend a game at Arrowhead in the early 90s(went to a game there in 2015 and it was still solid)

That was actually a rule at the time if I remember correctly. Home teams were charged a timeout if visiting offenses couldn't hear the snap count. Not sure, but I also think they could assess penalties if it persisted after the timeout was charged.
