Lol, I threw out $500k and thought people would think it was crazy. The more I think, and read y’all, it’s higher. It would have to be a number that changed the way I lived. $500K would lower my mortgage payments and add some nice vacations. It would allievate some financial stress and shave a couple of years off the back end of my career if invested well. It wouldn’t change my day-to-day. If I’m going to commit to the Bills never winning a Super Bowl in my lifetime, my life would need to improve significantly with the amount of money I’d be getting.

Yeah, the guaranteeing that theyll never win in my lifetime is a big one. Would have to be above my "magic number" of $10M. Enough to change my lifestyle to a point where I dont care about or even watch football anymore. So probably closer to $100M.

I mean, you would have to have this as a condition, wouldn't you? Without it you're basically asking how much is your fandom worth because, realistically, if you knew they weren't ever going to win one, would you still watch? The unpredictability of the outcome (no matter how much the NFL tries to eff that up) is a big part of the lure.

For sure, Like many others I have dedicated a very large part of my life as a passionate Bills fan and given majority or my life that's already been put into it. I was thinking about it other day and was hard to believe it's been 40 years I've been a Bills fan. I know there are many with much longer, but being a Bills fan is not for the weak.

If you can’t remember, you don’t need to commit. You get to experience the heartache forever blissfully unaware you sold it.

I’m thinking like $500K would be my number. That might be insane and it might not be high enough. That number is big enough to matter but not big enough to stop working or drastically change the day-to-day. 
 

I figure that this is an interesting place for this discussion because the people spending time here, in June, REALLY care about the Bills. 
 

EDIT: To be clear, you either get _____ dollars and the Bills do not win one in your lifetime OR they are guaranteed a championship this year. 

You can't put a price on something that would bring you, great joy.

Yeah, my dad always said he'd like to live to see the Bills win a Superbowl.  Fast forward and I'm one year younger than when he passed away and I'm asking the same question.  Will I live to see it?

Lol I know right.... I actually have the Bills logo tattoo on the back of my neck and just recently got "one before I die" right underneath it across top of my back shoulder blade to shoulder blade. 

 

Anyone that's a football fan knows exactly what it's about when they see it... I'm starting to see it on shirts and stuff now quite often that you can buy
