Tore his achillies less than a year ago.  Is he PUP?  Late season insurance?

 

Had a solid 2022.  Broke his leg in the second game in 2023, tore his Achilles in game 4 last season. 

 

If he can get healthy, seems like a nice addition.

I'm good with this as a vet option, almost certainly knocks Spector off the roster. Thompson has missed most of the last two seasons with injuries. Put him on ice and only bring him out in case of injury. Hopefully it's not an AJ Klein situation where he's lost all movement ability.

Remember when we had to start AJ Klein in the playoffs? This guys older but this is good depth if he's even 80 percent of what he was

Our LBs are glass and having this dude as insurance is probably the smart thing to do.

I bet he'll wind up on the practice squad as our "break glass in case of emergency", trusted veteran linebacker depth guy.

Like AJ Klein, but a bit further removed from RV life.

Of course, it will depend on how well he comes back from the Achilles tear, but he was a first round pick and apparently a talented guy. Sounds like he brought more to the table than Klein ever had.
