I remember listening about giant Harold Carmichael tearing us up in a meaningless game. I remember that more clearly than most of the games from that era I actually attended. I guess it was “different” so it stands out in my mind, and your brain must process it a bit differently. 🤷♂️ . Amen! Listening to Van Miller and maybe Ed Rutkowski? Memory fades. Can’t recall who used to host that Saturday afternoon Highlights show on Channel 7. Quote

Coach Tuesday Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago I would pay even more if they brought back Andrew Siciliano. Scott Hanson is like an AI recreation of a 90’s Sega sports game announcer guy. 1 1 Quote

Then, anxiously waiting until the next Saturday afternoon to watch “Buffalo Bills Highlights” on Channel 7 to see the game from the weekend before. It was the only way for me to know what the game even looked like. And…it was free! I remember that they would play popular music over the highlights; I specifically remember The Beatles “Lady Madonna” being played. Weird how certain memories just stick like that. Quote

PromoTheRobot Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Was this posted yet? I didn't see it. NFL and TV networks appeal court ruling, insist they have the right to gouge people. 🙄 https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/all-nfl-broadcast-partners-except-amazon-file-legal-brief-supporting-nfl-in-sunday-ticket-appeal I live in the Boston TV market. Between primetime games, games at 4:25, and 1pm games not up against the Patriots, I figure I'll see at least 12 Bills games. So paying for ST just isn't worth it for me. Thanks Josh, for making the Bills America's team. Edited 5 hours ago by PromoTheRobot 1 Quote

I'm in same boat. I'm in the same boat, besides the Bills games, there was maybe a handful of other games I watched, but if they weren't available and didn't see them, wouldn't be a big difference so not going to likely pay for it to watch so few games. Give me the discount like you're giving new subs or at least $100 off and I'll likely take it. As you and promo pointed out, AI says the Bills will be on nationally at least 9 games, Im in the AFC central market so I wont get as many as promo. But it shows the ridiculousness of the pricing. 375 bucks for the other 8 Bills games, is 46.87 for each of the other 8 Bills games. I love football, I'll watch the three games on Sunday, the Monday nighter and Thursday. I dont give a crap that you get every game, I cant watch them all. I dont care if the Jets are playing Carolina or the Giants are playing Seattle, etc. It would be like buying a new car and having to pay for a bunch of options you dont want. I also hate when companies treat their existing customers worse than new customers. Heck even the phone companies have been moving away from that. I just retired, Im so glad teachers and professors who probably make more than me will be paying less. Im truly torn, but Im leaning without any discount I'll record the Bills replay when it comes on NFL network during the week. At this point it's a matter of principle at balking at the 375 price.
