Prices keep going up on YouTube. With You Tube TV subscription: Sunday Ticket $378 with RedZone $422 YTTV subscription fees are extra Standalone: Sunday Ticket $480 with RedZone $522 No separate tv package needed Student Plan: Sunday Ticket $119 with RedZone $129 Will need to verify student status No separate tv package needed I got the standalone ST + RedZone the last 2 years and worth the cost but starting to get steep. Last year around this time, they offered $100 off for signing up early but I see nothing out there as far as discounts/deals this year. Please post if you got em. last year as a veteran I paid $199. i will be looking for that again. 15 hours ago, BillsShredder83 said: Heres what I'll say. I moved to NC in 2020 and had the ticket for 2 years because having a reliable Bills game experience was a non-negotiable. Year 1 went OK.... Year 2 AWFULLLLLL. In a pinch during those several games that were jacked up on Sunday ticket, I used a stream service on Firestick..... my Firestick guy was infinitely more reliable than SundayTicket which I paid ~$500 for. I kept my eye on the Firestick and it outperformed Sunday Ticket all year. Tried it through Sabres season, no issues. Every PPV fight, boom! I pay about $30/mth, and have the equivalent of Sunday Ticket for all sports, including every UFC/Boxing. If you have the means of trying a Firestick guy, you WILL NOT REGRET IT! And I regretted the quality of the muchhhhhhh more expensive package in Sunday Ticket where will i find this Firestick guy? Quote

I remember back in like 99 or 2000 I had a friend who had some people in his family who were like half a wiseguy ish and they had this guy that would take the old directv access cards and program them so that everything worked! From HBO to Local channels all over the country to Corn with a P to Sunday ticket...etc. 50 bucks and the deal was when Directv sent out the signal to zap the cards he would redo it up to two times...after that you had to pay 50 bucks for a new one! mine worked for like a month and a half then got zapped, then never worked again. that is what all the chinese all channels all the time devices remind me of. I have a friend who uses one and gets every channel. Amazing that it works. Quote
zow2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I long for the days of haggling with DirecTv over pricing for the upcoming season. I practically had a script year after year lol. Now it's just bend over and take the price. 1 1 Quote

SoMAn Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I canceled NFLST for this year. Will I re-up? I don't know. We'll get all the usual prime-time national and and 4:25 games. We'll know which games and times 6 days from now. That's a given. Because we play the NFC South division that includes Atlanta (where I live), it's very possible I might also get local broadcasts of Carolina, Saints, and Bucs games when they face the Bills. A little extra bonus. In the past, there've been Bills vs Miami (or some other team), and the local stations always show NFC South games even if the matchups suck. As far as he cost is concerned, I'm Elmer J. Fudd. I own a mansion and yacht. So, clearly I can afford it. But it's the idea of paying almost $500 for what could amount to maybe to 5 or 6 games only available with NFLST - just bad bang for the buck. I already subscribe to NFL+ through the NFL app. The game is shown in it's entirety immediately following the end of the live game. That's one option. I could wait and watch it on the app with the delay, (would rather watch live). Or I can go to a friend's house. Or to our local Anchor Bar. The cost of an afternoon at a sports bar made the Sunday Ticket a good bargain. But not if it amounts to $100/game for the ticket. But, Youtube and NFL are really getting greedy. There are already at least 5 or 6 games every week on local TV or with cable, (ESPN), Netflix, Amazon, etc. Even more during Thanksgiving week, Christmas week and other times. When Bye weeks come into play, there may only be 13 games shown, or rather, only 7 or 8 on NFLST. So, with the odds of having an attractive team (like the Bills) on TV locally, NFLST doesn't make much sense for me this year. When the schedule comes out next week, I'll have a better idea of which course to take, but highly unlikely I'll get the ticket this year. Quote

I liked it on directv better, easier to synch with OTA Sirius XM, better user interface to find game, also ability to negotiate a deal. With YTV no deals just jack up prices. Glad I have prime and free Netflix for the games tossed onto those platforms that have even a worse UI Quote

Glad I have prime and free Netflix for the games tossed onto those platforms that have even a worse UI I like it better since it seemed to me that DTV buffered a TON. I’m guessing that’s individual experience though. I am also a YouTubeTV customer and use it as my “cable TV” and it’s the absolutely best. You can order the channels on the guide in any order you want, seemingly unlimited storage (I haven’t checked how much but I currently have enough episodes of Jeopardy on backlog to last for a solid month) and it’s reasonably priced. Southern McButterpants. Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The transition to YTTV (i am a subscriber to both) had a major impact on all of the "free" streams that used to be available on gameday, hence my subscription. But these prices - yikes! It may be more fiscally wise to hit up the local Bills Backer Bar... Quote

Glad I have prime and free Netflix for the games tossed onto those platforms that have even a worse UI My biggest gripe with the nfl and sunday ticket..(besides the price but I understand that going in because the nfl are greedy ghouls) is the fact that they do not add the simple option of listening to the radio broadcast instead of the tv broadcast. How can MLB make this available for every game of the season but the nfl can not do this for 17 simple weeks. They just hate their fans. I would love to have the option to listen to Chris Brown, Eric Wood and Sal instead of alot of the tv broadcasts. I have just begun rewatching last season this week and the week 1 broadcast was terrible. Jay Feeley is horrendous in the booth. Tom McCarthy and Ross Tucker made it even worse. Thankfully Jay Feeley is moving on to making the world a worse place in another venue. I would rather listen to my neighbors dog bark than spero dedes and adam archuletta also. Quote

Looks like it was offered a couple weeks into the season. 1 Quote
