Moore has never had a quality QB throwing to him, and Palmer comes from. Greg Roman offense. I think Brady’s schemes are more receiver friendly. Herbert threw for more yards, had a higher completion %, a lower INT% and a higher passer rating than Josh Allen did last year. For his career, which includes 4 years with Josh Palmer, Herbert throws for 30+ more yards per game than Allen. And Josh Palmer has played 9 or more games per year in a dome environment. What you call "thinking" is your feels. Quote

I hope with this post you’re not trying to argue Herbert is better than Allen. Quote
Nihilarian Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago "The host of the Locked on Bills podcast, Joe Marino, posted a list of the pass-catchers who had the "lowest catchable target rate" in the league last season and Moore finished at No. 5 on the list. Former Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper made the cut at No. 2, but he was also on the Browns last season. Marino revealed that after Cooper went to Buffalo, his catchable passes rate went from 62.3% to 75% with Allen." Good points Quote

There is a lot more to being a great QB than just passing the ball. Allen won the MVP largely because it was perceived that he won in spite of a lack of talent around him. Herbert is a tremendous passer but his deficiencies show up in the win column not in the passing stats columns. You showed your ignorance of the situation when you presumed that Palmer didn't have at least equal opportunity to perform in the passing game in LA. Just do a little research so you aren't posting bogus trash. The Chargers play at least 8-10 games indoors every season and Herbert consistently throws for more yards per game than Allen. Truth. Mat68 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago His style as a wr fits with what Allen has been best with guys that separate. Imo he is in direct competition with Samuel. Palmer Shakir and Coleman are the three. Depending on formation you will see any combination of the three or two. 1 Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Official numbers are in. 1 year, 2.5m fully guaranteed with 2.5m in possible incentives. So he did take about a million less to sign with us than the Browns UFA Tag offer. Edited 4 hours ago by BillsFanForever19 1 Quote

Separation, the one thing that has been lacking, and now we have 3 that can do that. Quote

Just do a little research so you aren't posting bogus trash. The Chargers play at least 8-10 games indoors every season and Herbert consistently throws for more yards per game than Allen. Truth. Look at numbers. The Chargers focused their passing game on two guys: McConkey and Johnson. They got about 40% of Herbert’s targets. In comparison Shakir and Kincaid got about 20%. So in my opinion Brady’s everybody eats approach might serve Palmer better than Roman’s where he didn’t get many looks. Palmer may get more looks, be the big target some games, not get many looks the next. But won’t the 3rd option all the time necessarily. Herbert threw for more yards? Fine. Again, the Bills ran the ball for about 400 more yards too. Different philosophies means just comparing raw numbers doesn’t tell the story. Unless you’re saying you’d trade Allen for Herbert because his raw numbers are better. I suspect most would get a good laugh out of that. Edited 3 hours ago by oldmanfan Quote
